War With Iran Likely

BY Herschel Smith

The so-called “experts” are coming to the same conclusion I reached years ago.

Officials in key parts of the Obama administration are increasingly convinced that sanctions will not deter Tehran from pursuing its nuclear programme, and believe that the US will be left with no option but to launch an attack on Iran or watch Israel do so.

The president has made clear in public, and in private to Israel, that he is determined to give sufficient time for recent measures, such as the financial blockade and the looming European oil embargo, to bite deeper into Iran’s already battered economy before retreating from its principal strategy to pressure Tehran.

But there is a strong current of opinion within the administration – including in the Pentagon and the state department – that believes sanctions are doomed to fail, and that their principal use now is in delaying Israeli military action, as well as reassuring Europe that an attack will only come after other means have been tested.

“The White House wants to see sanctions work. This is not the Bush White House. It does not need another conflict,” said an official knowledgeable on Middle East policy. “Its problem is that the guys in Tehran are behaving like sanctions don’t matter, like their economy isn’t collapsing, like Israel isn’t going to do anything.

“Sanctions are all we’ve got to throw at the problem. If they fail then it’s hard to see how we don’t move to the ‘in extremis’ option.”

Shocked!  Shocked, they are, that sanctions aren’t working.  It’s as if the Obama administration sees things only through Western, secular eyes, and the Mullahs in Iran see things through religious, apocalyptic and eschatological eyes.  It’s as if the Mullahs don’t place the same importance on things that the “experts” in the administration do, you know, the issue of self preservation, survival of the nation-state, and so on.  It’s as if the Mullahs are willing to sacrifice Iran to bring about the global apocalypse necessary to usher in the Caliphate.

Sanction are all we’ve got to throw at the problem.  Good grief.  We’ve got many more things than that.  While the Obama administration may not need a war, as they said, Iran has been at war with the U.S. for thirty years.  Whether he knew it or not, Obama entered office while at war with Iran.  If his advisers didn’t explain that to him, well then, they aren’t the real experts at all.

As I have advocated, we should have engaged Iran in the covert war they are waging against us.  Recall that I have called for reversing executive order 12333 and assassinating general Suleimani.  I have called for supporting the Green movement, I have called for a program of targeted assassinations of high level Quds force commanders, and I have called for fomenting an insurgency inside of Iran.  Regime change is the order of the day.

But we chose to believe that negotiations, talks, letters, videos to the Iranian people, and everything else on earth would suffice for engagement of Iran as an enemy.  Now, we are out of time, and we (and/or Israel) will pay the price for it.  My way was easier and involved covert warfare.  We chose to ignore the easy way, and so now we will go it the hard way, with overt warfare.

    Well said.

In this regard, not that the current administration necessarily manifests a full array of political objectives that all sit well with me, one nonetheless may be prudent to consider the President operates with intelligence input most of us do not have. In this regard, it seems probable the Mullahs are playing their final hand in this dimension.

Some of the intel Obama probably holds includes a array the very much tests ancient “religious, apocalyptic and eschatological” beliefs.

Here are other concerns the White Hats and the Administration (to the extent they are in the loop) have to factor into things: from the rumor mill….

    — Poof! They’er gone! About a dozen Iranian suicide speed boats made an attack on the fleet and before reaching the very “Kill Line” reported in you fleet defense strategy blog, there was a considerable disturbance in the waters, and Poof! They’re gone! … Just a rumor, but glimpses of which we will be seeing more of in the near future. The most profound display recently was the Norway Sky Spiral, stopping a Russian missile test.

    — Both China and Russia have indicated to Washington that an open attack on Iran by either Israel or the US will be considered an attack on them, or some convoluted mutual defense entanglement thereof.

    — Our White Hats are in a truly heroic “End Times” scenario battle internally with NWO Forces which NWO forces are out to be “utterly dismantled” by our White Hats…. with as little loss of life as possible by the forces comprising the salvific heroic sacrifices of the White Hats. The NWO political elements are falling apart globally. Their main global economic foundation is being not only exposed and stripped away by the capture of two mind boggling leaks into their world of free money, (a) the capure of six trillion in “fake” US. Bonds, and the earlier capture last month of (b) $135 billion US bonds at the Swiss boarder. If this is fake money, one has to ask the larger question, who would possible serve as a “fence” for fake stollen securities of this magnitude, and what would one want or need in exchange? Gold? Whose gold?

    — a group of German regular Navy sailors piloting a French nuclear powered sub in the 87 meter boomer class, is rumored to have approached San Ofrero coaster power plant with the apparent intention to torpedo the known excessively tubular corroded atomic plant with a dirty bomb war head rigged up by North Korea. The real question is who and where did these German sailors under sealed orders receive their training as Germany uses advanced diesel-electric subs. Which forces in which super power train them?

    — Shipped into Maracaibo on par with the Cuban Missile Crises, the lovable Pesidente Hugo Chavez accepted delivery of 40 dirty bomb missiles from “Doh! I didn’t do it; you never saw me; nobody can prove a thing!” Kim Jong Un, the youngest 4 star general and new leader of North Korea, who in all likelihood can probably actually plead Nolo Contendere and mean it:

So being the hapless POTUS responsible on the one hand for a Constitution he pledged to defend, served by an apparently sometimes indiscrete VP who demonstrates a unique capacity for saying exactly the wrong thing at the very moment it can compromise, say for example, Seal Team 6, the office has a lot more to deal with in the “religious, apocalyptic and eschatological” relmes than one might think.

Keep an open mind and pray our White Hats win this one. It’s sort of important on all levels “religious, apocalyptic and eschatological” possibly even in higher dimensions.

Sanctions have little chance of working. Period. It is becoming more apparent that we are, unfortunately, headed for war with Iran; so, the most compelling question is whether we take them on now or wait until they are stronger and have nukes.

The relevance of this post is the focus that war with Iran is Likely. In that regard I posted some far out intel rumors above which in theory relate to war like actions surrounding Iran including a statement that an attacking PT Boat feet of suicide boats armed with contact fuses were stop dead in their tracks “poof, they’re gone” in the Straights. This event was supposed to have been witnessed by (a) military crews (b) international press (c) military crews. There has got to be a leak if this has any basis of truth. Please report any follow up on these rumor topics especially the Maracaibo event. The only follow up to these rumors I have is a second interview of John Kettler:

…who is himself under attack for his postings. Herschel, please allow us to post what we fin on this subject right here as it is a timely and important service, I think.
