I think he mentioned before it’s a Universal. I like my repatriated (from Korea) S’G’ carbine. Didn’t jump into the CMP feeding frenzy, was getting a little too rich for my blood. I suppose there were some good ones in there, though I think pretty much all mix-master.
No, CMP buys were for older, used Carbines, this one is new, Auto-Ordnance. Also, the CMP buys are harder to come by. Although I must say, this one came from Allen Arms in Greenville, S.C., and Hyatt Gun Shop, Firepower, Shooter’s Express and Sharpshooters didn’t have one. Allen did.
