The Party That Supports Rape

Bob Beckel, co-host of “The Five” on Fox News, doubted the need for women to carry guns on college campus as protection because rape rarely takes place at institutions of higher learning anymore.
Mr. Beckel said, according to a report by The Blaze: “When was the last time you heard about a rape on campus?”
Another co-host, Eric Bolling, said rape on campus was “rampant,” The Blaze reported, and said denying women the right to carry at college was tantamount to an open invitation to criminals.
Co-host Dana Perino agreed with Mr. Bolling, that rape is a huge issue for women attending college. Mr Beckel wasn’t swayed.
“Date rape, yeah that’s one thing,” he said, according to The Blaze. “But you gonna take a gun out and shoot your date?”
Politico reports Mr. Beckel subsequently apologized for his remarks.
“It’s a horrible, horrendous issue. Simply put, rape is rape. Whether it’s date rape or it’s somebody coming in off the campus trying to rape somebody else,” he said, according to Politico. “I just want to straighten the record out on that. I simply was trying to make — there was not a distinction to make here. It simply was that date rape is rape, and that is, by any other definition, rape is rape.”
The great thing about extemporaneous speaking is its honesty, regardless of the subsequent triangulations. The democrats really are the party that supports rape.

The Republicans are the party that supports rape too.
I’m sick of both control-freak parties.
And I’m sick of people like you seeing only the evil in the other party.
Start calling it out everywhere, consistently, and then you might get some respect from more than your political clique.
“It has been interesting and heartening to see the massive response by the women of Virginia – and the whole country – to come together with justified outrage against the state-sanctioned rape bill requiring women seeking abortion to undergo medically unnecessary and costly trans-vaginal ultrasounds. It has also been quite interesting to see the curious push back from the right on the use of the word ‘rape’ when describing the bill which could require the penetration of a woman’s vagina without her consent (rape).”

Listen, Mike. Let me explain some things to you.
First of all, I don’t shill for any political class. I am not on the payroll of any politician. I do this as a labor of love.
Second, I see the political ruling class for both parties (and honestly, probably all parties, including liberatarians) as crap-weasels. All of them.
Third, I think that the GOP political ruling class probably doesn’t really represent the people very well. I think that the GOP rank and file are much more freedom-loving than the totalitarian politicians, but that the rank and file are watching too many night time sitcoms to notice anything. So they don’t boot the crap weasels out of office.
But … and here is the difference … I believe that the dem political ruling class DOES represent the beliefs of their rank and file, who are statists and totalitarians, all of them.
And that’s a big difference. It’s in the rank and file, not the crap weasel political ruling class.
Now, before reacting like you do, you need to read a little more carefully. For example, in this post:

Why did I use Ben Franklin’s cartoon instead of the Gadsden flag? What am I trying to communicate there?
You just don’t have enough history with me to get sick of me yet. Give it some time, come back, and learn to read in between the lines.

Republicans freedom loving? Not hardly.
People, especially women, vote Democrat as the “lesser evil” because they perceive Republicans as totalitarian control freaks.
Poll: Female voters give Obama edge on contraception, abortion

If Republicans weren’t persistently calling down the Wrath-of-the-State upon women to control American’s reproductive and sex lives, then the Democrats wouldn’t have had the political edge to try to control guns.
That’s political reality.
Want to really win the Statist-Authoritarian war on guns? Give up the Statist-Authoritarian war on what a person does with their penis or uterus.

What have you been drinking? No republican wants to control contraception. What they want is the freedom to decide what they will do without being told by the Obama administration and the so-called affordable health care act.
I realize you are taking a liberatarian viewpoint, but you leap is illogical. The GOP voters can certaintly be freedom loving folk and being anti-abortion (which is most certainly NOT the subject of the article). The issue pertains to the fact that this is a person inside the womb who deserves the protection of the constitution.
Now. Return to the subject of the article or don’t comment any more.
