Anti-Veteran Police State

Kurt Hofmann:

The ongoing, and evidently accelerating, militarization of law enforcement has for a while now been of real concern to those of us who realize that the Posse Comitatus Act is of little value when state, and even local, police departments are allowed to arm themselves as if going to war (war with whom?). That’s fine with the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, who caution us to “not pile too much on the militarization of law enforcement,” but more than a little alarming to those of us who have vowed not to permit a “government monopoly on force.”

Stop by and read Kurt’s transcription of comments by Josh Horwitz (follow the links).  How rich.  Gun control for thee, but not for me and my army.

It just goes to show, gun control isn’t about guns.  It’s about collectivist visions of state control.  It always has been from the time of Adolf Hitler and even well before (e.g., in ancient times, Philistine control over the manufacture of metal and other instances).

We are probably on the verge of a Trial and need to think coldly.

Who is the actual enemy and how do they operate?

In the 1960s and 1970s the Inner City Community or Black if you prefer was successfully radicalized by the Left into thinking the police were the enemy. An attitude still present today, although the horrific body count had convinced most by the 1980s that the Police weren’t the problem. Crime still persists at horrific levels in small pockets today, as do beliefs the police are somehow the masterminds behind it. See Chicago now where the police are not the problem, the community IS. The police by the way are for the most part in favor of the Second Amendment and even concealed carry, especially in high crime areas. Especially in Chicago for instance, or so I gather.

I mention the recent past in present context. For there is growing success even among the law abiding that the police are the enemy and coming for their guns, thereby driving a wedge between a much larger community in America and the police…without ever considering if the police and not the masters of government [which isn’t the police] are steering us into tyranny – and I would quite contend that Americas rapacious and predatory elites are doing exactly that, but tyranny has a problem. They cannot and do not trust their law enforcement or military. For they come from the very stock whose subjugation and ruin is their malicious object.

Us. We “M’uricans.” We are the object of this and we should think coldly about the matter.

We are being maneuvered into Tyranny, I quite agree. If we wish to cooperate with this process we can follow the media into the police are the enemy meme with some degree of the same sorry results this has gained others.

If one anticipates strife one looks about for allies, one usually wouldn’t look around for more enemies. In particular a dangerous one who knows you and is close at hand. Washington or even the State capitol is far, the constable is close. Then the question is: is this a natural enemy or one whose interests are fatally opposed to yours? Is this a fanatic of tyranny, or perhaps someone caught in an unexpected situation of being the unwilling face of it?

Boil to is this a foe, friend or neutral?

If friend or neutral is it wise to make a foe? Is it necessary, coldly in interest, advance the cause or the interests of your faction?

Tactics. Regardless of police powers on paper law they are left with vast discretion on how and when to enforce the law. That’s both practical and quite legal. So they can see what is happening and have the discretion on whether or not they’ll act on it, or not.

Most police if they are not seeing harm, are not seeing a threat to the public peace and critically are not challenged directly putting them on the spot will be inclined to let minor violations slide. They have to do this daily and are empowered to do so.

What gains more? A Modus Vivendi of the police not involving themselves in a political dispute and all seeing that the Second Amendment in practice trumps any now effectively nullified statute of our pompous pretty haired politicians and the press… or a meaningless confrontation that could be avoided where the Media reports The Big Story that the conflict is Police vs Second Amendment Rights?

The winner in Police vs Second Amendment is Tyranny [and also crime]. The losers are the fools who do the enemies fighting for the enemy.

Dude, these so called “Leo’s” are a domestic threat, have been since the late 60’s when the 1st SWAT team came out. They have been and are a huge problem for us and liberty and the rule of law. They are the biggest breakers of the Law(s) today than anyone else, even more than the politicians/reps.

  3. On May 23, 2014 at 11:06 am, Matheus Grunt said:

The enemies are simple to find. Anyone with a badge who is part of the “law enforcement community,” anyone in the judicial system, Senators/Congress or otherwise called “representatives” which 99% of them are domestic enemies, the president, the whole system (or government as people tend to call it) as a whole, is our enemy because it disobeys the Constitution and Bill of Rights. So that’s not really hard to figure out. There are some others but they’re not as organized as the system enforcers and upholders as those mentioned above.

Just listening to the conversation online about the Elliott Rodger case, Captain, and listening intently to police representatives or retired officers (Rod Wheeler in this case). He was describing why the police, who were asked to visit Rodger, didn’t enter his apartment. Mr. Wheeler offered (correctly) that they didn’t have legal authority to do so. But then, he immediately offered that if they had been granted access and saw his three legally purchased handguns and legally purchased ammo, well the whole story could have been changed. He didn’t elaborate, but I believe he didn’t have to, as his point apparently was, “Well, we would have taken him in and confiscated his ‘weaponry’.” Then Mr. Wheeler described that he would try to trick Rodger by asking if they could see the meds he was taking (supposedly, at that point they could check his reading material as well, you know like “Rifleman” magazine, a clear indication of terrorist intent). Mr. Wheeler, who is now the CEO of a criminal investigation firm, has given us a new meaning of the Leftist phrase – the ends justify the means – and unfortunately, a view into the minds of today’s police officers. Essentially, anything we can do to circumvent the law and with the help of the media, taint you as a gun-nut whacko, we will absolutely do.

Ah, and on this Memorial Day what sweeter news to all our veterans who fought and to the families of all those who died, that our “brothers and sisters” in law enforcement have carte blanche to trick us or (if your last name is Guerena), to kill us after we arrive home, either wounded or whole.
