Coalition To Stop Gun Violence Mocks Chris Kyle

We previously covered the ill-advised cartoons done in poor taste promulgated by the CSGV. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse and the CSGV couldn’t go any lower, it does, and they do.
An influential anti-gun group is targeting Clint Eastwood’s potential Oscar nominee “American Sniper,” but it might be the group’s corporate sponsors — including the NFL — that get blasted in the assault.
The Washington-based Coalition to Stop Gun Violence has given critics of the upcoming movie a Facebook outlet to rant about the subject of the movie, sniper Chris Kyle, killed after the leaving the military and while he was at a gun range with a vet suffering from PTSD.
“Good Riddance,” wrote one. “What goes around comes around,” sneered another.
Kyle is an American hero, a sniper so effective in Iraq that terrorists put a bounty on his head. But the movie is a liberal’s nightmare and the anti-gun coalition’s supporters have been eager to condemn it and keep it out of the Oscar spotlight.
You don’t have to be supportive of any phase of the campaigns Chris Kyle was engaged in to keep from being an ass clown about his death. I didn’t agree with the initial invasion of Iraq (OIF1, while at the same time taking a different view of OIF2 and OIF3 for reasons explained in previous articles). I supported the initial stages of our actions in Afghanistan (OEF), while calling for the complete withdrawal of troops when it became obvious we were going to engage in nation building, COIN and stability operations.
All of that is irrelevant except to point out that support for campaigns (or lack thereof) can be a complex thing, even among the military (remember that my son was deployed in Iraq and would have been in Afghanistan had he extended his enlistment – his views on these matters are complex and involved). But for the CSGV to beclown themselves this way shows what they are truly made of. Their moral character is despicable and repugnant. I put them in the same category as Westboro Baptist Church.

At least Westboro Baptist isn’t advocating for government theft of liberty and property. But yes, certainly in the same league.

I feel like the military is the only force stopping the people our government has screwed over from getting in our bedrooms at night with jihad in their eyes. Chris Kyle and all his co heroes are #1 in my book. I do go farther in being anti war…I believe the only war we should ever have to fight is one where an enemy is coming on the US shores, however our government since the 1940’s has made this high on the ain’t gonna happen list by jerking the rest of the world around over oil and diamonds. Once again thank you to all the military who are preventing our own government from bringing harm to the homeland.

If you follow the links, it’s amazing how many “Jewish” groups support the CSGV. I count 10 out of their 47 member organizations. Also, how many “women’s” groups.
And the “American Association of Suicidology”? That’s really a thing? They haven’t realized yet that a person who is truly suicidal will find a way, regardless of the “gun control” laws (see: Japan)?
Sheesh!

Where is the cartoon? Friends at FOX and their “FACT FINDING STAFF” are at it again with something so outlandish, what’s the point?
Statement released by the group speaks for itself.
We have a great story to tell about our friends over at Fox News. They’ve cooked up this wild story about us “trashing” deceased sniper Chris Kyle. You know what it’s based on? A months-old Facebook post of ours linking to a USA TODAY review of the new film American Sniper. Our comments on that post? “Interesting project.” That’s it. Nothing else. No other words about Kyle spoken. They and 2nd Vote (who originally made up this claim) have turned THAT into the post you see below and pushed it to their fans like red meat, who are now threatening us. That, ladies and gentlemen, is the business model of the soulless.

“Where is the cartoon?”
Follow the links. Apparently you’re new to this internet thing.
” … Fox News.” Then go tell Fox News. I don’t work for them. I haven’t seen any of their reports on this. I don’t care what Fox News has to say about this.

So – you think all the comments on that FB page were generated by NRA members? Idiotic comments like: “Chris Kyle died the way he lived. Simple as that” ;
“How does a film glorifying war and snipers help a coalition to end gun violence?” ; “This is an opportunity to expose the delusion some (most?) returning veterans have about firearms.” and; “I do not know all the circumstances of his death (for instance, was he armed at the time) but it really drives home the point that in the moment, even the most highly trained military person in a place where guns were close at hand, was not able to defend himself and save his own life. What makes untrained people who practice a few times a year at a range think they are capable? Also, is the number of intentional and unintentional shootings at our nations gun ranges a dirty little secret no one talks about? Do we need more research about this? More regulation?”
I believe the views of CSGV members are pretty well accounted for at the FB page. I won’t go to the trouble to fisk the comments, except for this: Kyle was murdered by an unstable guy with PTSD that he was clearly trying to reach. Fuck all you blood-dancers for slamming Kyle when he can’t defend himself. WTF have any of you ever done to help a vet with PTSD – other than advocating rendering them all defenseless, via sending other men with gun to disarm them? You can check the FB pages of the commenters and see that most of them are disarmament-by-force lunatics. You know – your people. Except your ilk apparently loves only active-duty military to be armed to carry out that task. The hypocrisy of CSGV commenters is astounding.

Their ignorance is pretty astounding, too. They’re fools that live in la-la land. They would fit right in with a group near my hometown, ‘Grandmothers for Peace’.

I’ve often found it rather curious that the gun grabbers feel free to demean and demonize gun owners yet often claim they are the victim of “threats.” You would think that anti-gunners would shut up if they took the threats seriously or actually thought gun owners were dangerous.
I suspect gun grabbers are more afraid of insulting Islam than they are of gun owners.

CSGV is among the worst of the members of the Gun Confiscation Lobby, there is no known depth of immorality or lack of ethics to which they are unwilling to descend.
I’m not a fan of Kyle, but he’s gone, CSGV is not. Kyle targeted the wrong group.
