Man, is that fast. I know it’s fashionable now, but I can’t get used to the notion of 1 o’clock or 11 o’clock (for lefties) carry. I can’t ride things high enough to sit comfortably and really hate the notion of drawing seated from that position (convenient in a car, but talk about the risk of sweeping major anatomy under extreme stress!) This man’s rig clearly prints under his shirt and he’s probably got washboard abs unlike most of us. To each his own, my preference is 4 (rh) or 8 (lh); problematic while seated (esp. in a car) but yields higher safety, comfort and concealability for me, at the cost of perhaps a bit of speed.

If you're interested in what else the The Captain's Journal has to say, you might try thumbing through the archives and visiting the main index, or; perhaps you would like to learn more about TCJ.
