Unfortunately, the title gives the impression that the Adams Arms piston is somehow related to the hand guards catching fire. In fact the Adams piston system seems to perform perfectly.

Well, if you think you can learn anything from the videos he makes like this (e.g., the drooping barrel happened NOT with a pencil barrel, but with a contoured one at the contouring), or failures happening at the port, then good.
If you already know everything about this and other aspects of the gun, then ignore it.
