Daniel Harless And Mark Diels Bully Innocent Citizens

BY Herschel Smith
7 years, 3 months ago

Via David Codrea, who has some followup information you will want to know.

Harless is an idiot.  He isn’t capable of bagging groceries well, much less interacting with the public.  The Canton, Ohio police must hire down, or in other words, hire the dumbest people alive to do the job.

Harless doesn’t speak well, he doesn’t present himself well, he seems incapable of reasoned, logical or complex thought, and it’s a wonder that he passed any of the written examinations to become a LEO (unless the examinations are designed to exclude the smart candidates).

More than that, he appears to have broken the law.  He appears to be guilty, according to the clear testimony of this video evidence, of assault with a deadly weapon, false arrest, verbal and physical harassment, threatening a citizen with bodily injury and even death, and conspiracy to commit crimes.

His partner, Mark Diels, is simply a nincompoop and a boob.  He is a goober.  He appears to have no morals or scruples, and he appears to have intentionally went along with the apparent crimes being committed, meaning that he is not only complicit in them, he appears to have been guilty of conspiracy to commit these crimes and cover them up.

Tell me again about how most cops are just good guys trying to do a good job?  Let me hear it again.

    Verbal threats, abuse, intimidation and even death threats. Not really anything new here. Same happens in every big city and even many smaller towns. Police work attracts a certain kind of person, just as working with children tend to attract pedophiles. I would be willing to bet that Harless has probably applied to be on the city’s SWAT team in the past. This is why any prospective applicant for police work should have to take a battery of psychological tests (like the Massachusetts Multiphastic Personality Inventory) and prove to be emotionally stable and non-violent in order to be hired.

    They used to hire guys who wanted to help their neighbors. Now PDs are screening that type out. Got to HomeSec militarize to keep up with the times.

    And that handcuffing and putting him in the cruiser? That’s kidnapping by the way.

    I don’t know if this was intended to be snarky, but it is actually pretty accurate. People that are too smart generally are screened out of the magic blue costume pighood.

    The above incident of a citizen being treated wrongly, and the OH gun notification bill, are both a stewed up mess.

    Most bullies bully until someone knocks them on their ass. Herschel rightly and often states because we are made in God’s image, He says it is our duty to self-defense and defense of others. So, what would be the response of a CCW permit holder if Harless behaved as seen in the video but w/o his state issued costume?

    I am no fool but I have been wondering for quite some time – what/where is the tipping point for us dirt people to respond to bullies in kind, regardless of their state sanctioned affiliation? To be quite honest, I ask myself the same question ever more frequently – where is my own “red line”? What would “Harless” have to do to me to make me “knock him on his.ass” metaphorically speaking. I am interested in others’ opinion.

    BTW, not to be creepy and I am not a Fed (did I just prove otherwise), I recently moved back to the CLT metro and would appreciate repaying what I have learned from your site by buying you a meal at Midwood Smokehouse.

    That’s a kind offer sir. Can’t accept it. I will pay for my own and my wife’s too. Never been there. I’ll try to reach you at some point. Thanks again. Look forward to it.

    The Ohio legislature has a bill right now [ 9/21/17] to eliminate this requirement to inform leo’s of ccw permit . I think I see why . I think it is time for a organized open carry in Canton . Does this dickwad still harass citizens up their in Canton?

    come on…not all of them are bad…unfortunately, because of the economy, people that normally wouldn’t do the job are applying and getting hired…after the last 8 years of otard, those with half a brain didn’t apply because they didn’t want to be on cnn at 5 pm as the lead story for doing their job…cities all over the states has dropped requirements because no one wants to do the job any more…yes, there are shithead officers…and there always will be…all we can do is hope we don’t meet one…don’t speed, make full stops, etc…it is a thankless job and it does take a certain type of person…everyone loves firemen and i’ve never seen them save a house or car…remember this, the last thing you want is a bunch of snowflake officers…you want the type a guys…go ride at your local department…see what it’s really like…

    @joe
    “not all of them are bad” – Wrong
    “because of the economy” – Wrong
    “cities all over the states has dropped requirements” Correct but not for economic reasons. The local pd were effectively nationalized through DHS training and funding.
    “there are shithead officers” – Correct
    “it is a thankless job” – Wrong. Cop worship is on the rise and they can kill you without consequence while all having good laugh about it.
    “all we can do is hope we don’t meet one” – Wrong. I will die in a hale of bullets before I will live in fear of the Police State. Fuck the police.
    “does take a certain type of person” – Correct. But that type of person is purposefully turned away in favor of those that will follow orders, any orders under directive DHS under baby bush.

    If @Dan III stops by today he will tell that “There are no good cops.”

    I will never forget a past Deacon meeting at my church. Now mind you, this is a church of earnst and devout folks dedicated to biblical principles albeit most are on the love side of the Gospel forgetting the reason for same due to the fallen nature of man and the real world consequences of sin. Now the group of youngins I am about to describe were not Deeks but a semi millineal small group. In this group was a beat cop and a detective in the Rock Hill, SC PD. They were lamenting cop hating as an evil of this world with zero consideration of why that hate existed. Cop worship by bonafide disciples of Christ – disturbing indeed.

    They had better watch out. It will soon get to the point where people will shoot first rather than have any contact with the cops. And any bystanders will join in.

    Fred, you are dead on here.

    I, like Dan III, know there is no such thing as a good cop.

    “The whole Good Cop / Bad Cop question can be disposed of much more decisively. […] We need only consider the following:

    (1) A cop’s job is to enforce the laws, all of them;
    (2) Many of the laws are manifestly unjust, and some are even cruel and wicked;
    (3) Therefore every cop has to agree to act as an enforcer for laws that are manifestly unjust or even cruel and wicked.

    There are no good cops.”

    My question is, where is Daniel Harless today? I’ve confirmed he is no longer with Canton PD. Is he with another PD somewhere, working with school students, or bagging groceries?
