(As if police training somehow negates their opening premise, which is “guns are inherently unsafe”. No amount of training can make safe that which is inherently not safe. If a vehicle, for example, is not maintained or assembled correctly, it’s unsafe, regardless of how well-trained the driver is.)
They’re not against guns; they’re just against YOU having guns. Guns are cool for their pet enforcers to carry. Just not you. Ever.
They are fully in favor of the “government monopoly on force”.
