Mr Williford says he was ‘scared to death’ and I have no reason to not believe him, yet he overcame his fear and did what was needed.
He says he’s no hero, but he actually is one, because what he did is the true definition of heroism.

Great interview.
The shooter beat women, kids, and animals. He was in a psych unit. He got a dishonorable discharge from the military. He was a complete POS. Trump said it was a “mental health issue” not a gun issue, yet he signed a bill revoking Obama-era gun checks for mental illness.
I realize that this provision had Obama’s name in it and was therefore evil, but let’s get real. Trump and the fanatics at the NRA need to get their heads out of their friggin asses.

@GW,
I call that “evil.” I cannot locate a single mental health professional going on record that will tell you that they have the capability to predict future violent behavior (with the sole exception of someone who actually says that they are going to do something).
On the other hand, whether he had been in an institution or not, the 100% solution for this would be for him to have been met with the barrels of 50 pistols in his face the second he walked into the building with a rifle. We wouldn’t even be talking about this if people would carry like they should.

GW;
Whether you were told this by a person with an anti-gun agenda, or you’re knowingly trying to spread this propaganda (and I can’t tell and it doesn’t matter). That is a lie.
Obama issued an Executive Order for the Social Security Administration to send the names of people who they had assigned ‘Representative Payees’ (in other words a financial fiduciary) to people who they decided couldn’t handle their personal finances to the FBI for inclusion in the NICS database as a prohibited person.
Whether these people had some sort of mental problem, or were simply unable to balance their checkbook and had bounced checks when paying for some SS services, there was no 5th amendment recourse to ‘due process’ and no adjudication of mental defect.
Obama tried a backdoor gun ban and it stank so bad it was one of the first things Trump reversed.
Even the ACLU, who has no use for the 2nd amendment, was against this.
DO YOU UNDERSTAND NOW?
