John Kasich: Gun Controller
BY Herschel Smith6 years, 10 months ago
“If all the sudden you couldn’t buy an AR-15, what would you lose?” Ohio Republican Governor John Kasich asked on CNN, talking about new citizen disarmament edicts he’d favor in the wake of the Stoneman atrocities. “Would you feel your Second Amendment rights would be eroded because you couldn’t buy a God-darned AR-15?”
No Johnny, I wouldn’t feel that my rights to gun ownership – that is, any kind of gun I damn well pleased to own – eroded at all, since they don’t come from you, your opinions, or a piece of parchment.
Yes Johnny, the second amendment would have been infringed even more than it has been, and it is a covenant between the government and the people. That infringement will have eroded the peace and stability of the nation. That is what will have changed. You can count on it.

I’ve got no problem with gun control. I think it’s essential.
Without a good grip and smooth trigger pull, you likely won’t hit what you’re aiming at.
Clarity of thought requires precision of language.

Well, John, I wouldn’t lose anything and we’re past feelings here. But this isn’t about me, this about the future of our nation and killing tyrants. You’re not a tyrant, are you, John?

The “Son of a Mailman” once again has Corporate Media DNA dribbling from his chin. Kasich, Romney, Rubio, Flake, McCain, et al all belong to the “Weathervane” wing of the Republican Party.
In the fight to preserve our God-given rights the Weathervanes are as useful as tits on a boar hog.

Kasich is a long-time scoundrel; a political hack and careerist. While I have no love for Kasich I believe he is an issue for Freedom and the Citizens. However, this low-life has been a US congressman from Ohio 25 years ago when he voted, as an “R”, for the Clinton gun ban. He has continued to be a political hack and now governor of Ohio. The Citizens of Ohio have long known of this weasal’s leftist leanings. Yet Ohioans have kept him around for a generation. Kasich is representative of the Citizens of Ohio. He was chosen because his beliefs align with the bulk of Ohio citizens. Kasich is a problem because our fellow Americans of Ohio have allowed Kasich to attach what is left of Freedom & Liberty, time and time again.
Badmouth., whine, snivel, moan & groan about Kasich (and the other political elites across the nation) all you want. Just do NOT forget the people who have made and allow him to be a problem.

Speaking as an Ohioan, I didn’t vote for Kasich.
I was too young to vote against him in 94, but he did skedaddle from politics to take a lucrative series of careers in finance (gee, I wonder how that happened…) after his “reelection numbers” went from 90% to, as I remember, “just over a majority”.
Then at some point, either he or somebody decided, he ought to be governor.
Irony, Ted Strickland, his opponent, came out in favor of concealed carry decades ago, but he’s a Statist in too many things.
At that time, I didn’t vote for either.
“Lesser of two evils”…there really wasn’t one.
Here’s a fun fact.
His first wife went to my church.
He divorced her because she wanted him to quit politics, and he had national ambition even way back then.
The new wife who he’s “reproduced with” backed his ideas and wanted him to be president.
But he should have been less than a footnote in the 90’s having already been in office for so long.
I have an idea I’ve posted before.
6 years ought to be the maximum anybody can be in elected office.
Total.
Cumulative, counted at every level.
And to prevent Bushes, Clintons, Kennedys…make it “per family per 100 years”.
It wasn’t supposed to be a career, it was supposed to be so part time the need to “meet” hardly existed at all, short of an “emergency”.
But to go further, forget any “exemptions to such”, all laws should apply triple to officials getting a government check, and at least double the rest of their lives.
While I’m dreaming I want a helicopter, flight lessons, a tanker of fuel, and a Phased Plasma Rifle in the Forty Watt Range.

I followed David Codrea link to Kasich’s FB page. Kasich managed to get every logic-dispossessed, virtue sniveling SJW ass kisser with a FB account to post kudos to his post on his FB page.
