I’d be willing to guess that Dick’s – as with most large public facing organizations – has media/internet alerts that notify them whenever they are mentioned, and some peon in the PR department has to review the mention.

Any surveillance of this Site (and others) is conducted from the Data Stream through the NSA Centers that are Linked “sideways” from the ISP/Telco Centers. An ‘intelligence analist’ looking for evidence of subversive postings on a website run by a defined ‘enemy of the State’ (Yes, We Are) would be looking at ‘Macro’ Data that has already been correlated and categorized by Algorithms designed for Data Mining.
