NRA Statement On 3D Printers And Plastic Firearms

NRA:
Chris W. Cox, executive director, National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action, released the following statement on Tuesday.
“Many anti-gun politicians and members of the media have wrongly claimed that 3-D printing technology will allow for the production and widespread proliferation of undetectable plastic firearms. Regardless of what a person may be able to publish on the Internet, undetectable plastic guns have been illegal for 30 years. Federal law passed in 1988, crafted with the NRA’s support, makes it unlawful to manufacture, import, sell, ship, deliver, possess, transfer, or receive an undetectable firearm.”
“Crafted with the NRA’s support.” Do you need to know any more? And by the way, they and “Take the guns first, ban the bump stocks” Trump are in total agreement on this.
The NRA. The most powerful, well-funded gun control organization on earth.

For me, the bottom line to all this is:
“Who do you trust” ?

I trust very few people and I tell absolutely no one about what I have or what I do. Also no advertising on my Jeep or on “me”. No bumper stickers, decals, t-shirts or hats having anything to do with guns. Now they attack 3D printers and 80% lowers will probably be next. Might not be a bad idea to pick up a couple while they’re still available. The Glock 19 is very easy to build and it works.

When will the NRA demand the immediate and total repeal of all gun laws the US?

@Fred:
“Never”. Do I get some sort of prize for being the first correct answer?

Frank, Yes. You get to register your machine guns and destroy your bump stocks and register your hearing protection devices and you get to have all of your transactions recorded by dot guv and you get to pay a licensing fee for the right and duty turned privilege to carry a firearm all while giving somebody else your money to advocate for the theft of your natural rights but mostly, and this is the grand prize so far (more to come we’re sure, we can barely contain ourselves over the excitement of the boxcars coming soon), you get to wonder every night as you drift off to sleep if tonight is the night that you got Red Flagged and SWAT comes through your doors and windows because that’s liberty and that’s freedom.
