PSA 6.5 Creedmoor

The price point rather speaks for itself, and this is a very positive review.  Quick.  Take a look before some snowflake objects and the Bolsheviks at Google remove the video.

While I the times used their products as a still a lot to learn shooter thought the Palmetto nice enough and folks with lots more experience though was OK value for price, this new product really seems to have upped their game if all the new rifles come out like this, will keep an eye out at range and see if I spot one in action.A friend is shooting6.5 but from a bolt rifle but really likes the round.

Don’t plan to many upgrades. Palmetto state keeps a lot of its guns proprietary. You start palmetto, you’ll end palmetto. And then theirs the spam. No thanks.

@MT, what company DON’T SPAM U after you throw down and share your digits?
Smart people have the ability to kick spammers and advertisers on the internet in the ditch.
VPN and the Brave browser-heavy filtered email.
Tired of making credit card purchases @ Costco and having spammers trying to sell me the exact same shit when I got home online.

Nipped that in the bud right now

PSA is if not the best 2a insurance then please show me where you can grab a blem and lower and be shooting ar 15s for sometimes under 400 bucks.. THAT SHOOT!
The feed back i have received on PSA is positive and their sales and a bit of know how of the platform can get decent quality products into peoples hands at an outstanding price.
THIS IS EXACTLY what fuels the 2A!!

I am in the process of buying one of these and will put it up against my M&P !0 Smith and will see how it compares..
The Smith was damn near twice this price and by the looks of this rifle I am probably going to fall in love with it if it performs like this review and I LOVE my Smith…
110 Grain V MAx sitting on 47 grains of Benchmark can punch tickets on coyotes but the 6.5 can do it all better from top to bottom.

I work in a small gun shop. And this is what’s going down. Palmetto works on a short sighted business model. Just like Bud’s gun shop, and a few other internet sales outfits.
We can’t buy guns from the likes of S&W, Remington, Ruger. To small, to close to the street, whatever. we don’t have purchasing power. We have to buy through wholesalers like Sports South, Ellett Bros., Acusport. and the like. And everyone gets a cut.
Our end is about 10% on new guns, about 20% on ammo and accessories. Not much, just north of grocery stores, which are the smallest margin in retail. (use a credit card to buy a gun, and we lose another 3%.).
Enter Palmetto, Bud’s, whoever. They buy 300 Glocks, direct from the factory, markets them to you at 5% above our wholesale cost. You’re gett’in the deal! Then expects us to live on a $20.00 transfer fee. Hell, I’ve seen them marketed below our cost. Brick and mortar retailers can’t live on that. And they all know it. Don’t care.
Where’s the down side you ask? Were building the 2A! Except current law demands the gun ,frame, serial # part go through an FFL.(I would change that to). But its our reality right now. So, when we go out of business, who’s going to do the “great deal” transfers for you? Cabela’s? Sportsman warehouse? how ’bout Bass pro shop? FAIL! When were gone. So is the internet deals. And you will be paying “Big Box” full MSRP.( which you’re nowhere close to with us.).
Lest we forget a “turd sprout” like David Hogg could get a big box like Dick’s to bow to down quicker than Obama to a Saudi prince on your 2A. All your really doing is dropping your draws and bending over the barrel for a bunch of,” Wall street raiders”, that got into the gun business.
In this place,(so. Oregon), our little shop has at least 13 places to buy guns in a 2mi. radius. You do the math. Anyway, I hope it helps you understand. And I give thanks to everyone that comes in saying they like supporting the small guy’s. Were blessed because of you.
P.S. If your comparing a Smith & Wesson to a Palmetto. You need to get out more. Their both Stoner knockoffs, with most of the small parts made by someone else. Except Palmetto changes some of dimensions on their 10’s., so you can’t aftermarket upgrade. Don’t believe? OK. go put a P.O.F. ultimate bolt carrier group, and tomahawk charging handle on your sporty new Palmetto 308/ 6.5!

I always buy local even if I have to order a weapon. I go to my local shop with the part number and let them take their cut. I do like PSA Mags. Smooth as butter.

Went to the gun show today. Ammo is at pretty good prices, almost pre-DHS bulk contract levels. Now would be a good time to get some more. Lots of PSA, but that’s probably somewhat of a regional thing. Folding Keltecs chambered in handgun calibers, weirdly. And Anderson AR’s. Never really heard of an Anderson (which ain’t sayin’ much) but they got ’em. Crowd was very good. I guess the memo got out about Trump’s anti gun posture. Some women which is always good to see and folks bringing their sons along, I like that. 3pers 75 pounds overweight and acting tacticool. Dudes, if you’re fat asses leave the militia gear at home. And read a history book. Who were the 3 percent? Hint, not fat ass Pagans.

OT – @Fred – I get a kick out of the calorie-enhanced tacticool guys you described. In Fudd circles they’re the ones looking for an ultralight rifle that shaves 2 lbs off the standard version. Meanwhile, they’re toting about an extra 150 lbs of gut up the hill. Some of these guys ride the carts around Wal Mart, because they’re too effing lazy to walk to the doughnut counter. I recently saw a guy get a motorized cart stuck on a busted expansion joint in the parking lot, and ultimately lift the whole works off the ground to move it to be able to continue to ride. And I forgot that I carry a camera that doubles as a phone.

It never ceases to amaze me when someone is trying to “act” intelligent they totally blow it by showing THEIR lack of the grasp of the language.
A real favorite of mine is “your an idiot”..
laugh my ass off every-time I see this..
Hey genius, it is THEY ARE as in they’re..
    *smh*
    I am surrounded by morons.

Club, never claimed to be intelligent. (11th grade dropout, then poured concrete for 40 yrs.). Even if I didn’t concur with, “your an idiot”, what’s left of my carcass does! That being said. I have to admit it would be fun to see the look on your face after you drill an 80% ar10 lower, then try and stuff that cheap ass Palmetto crap in it.
But, being around you when your revolution starts is going to be dangerous. Not just because of your equipment choice. You seem to be having a hard time figuring out your real enemies. Enjoy!

MTHead let me just say that my attacking your intelligence was and is uncalled for and I apologize.
It is a blatant weakness of my psyche to assume that someone should be as conscious as myself to try to insure that my speech is dialed into being the closest thing to perfect as the ability of people to take things in the wrong content is a huge problem especially across the social forums as there is no way to express the tone of one’s words.
I am also guilty of thinking people are like myself and am always striving for improvement in one’s conceptual articulation right down to the stressing out of when and where to use apostrophes.
I now realize that demanding perfection is snobbery and again.. I apologize.

  17. On August 23, 2018 at 12:22 pm, The Big Club said:

Now see? I am stressing out about is it content or context?
The container is the context. What’s in it, the content. Any narrative contains the 6 W’s. Who, what when, where, why and how, tell all. The who, when and where constitute the setting, the context. The what, why and how are actions in the scenes, the content. History changes context constantly. It is part of the evolving “when” and impacts the current setting. The problem with the container metaphor is that very thing. Time is constantly changing the container. Context is a mental construction, concrete, conceptual and symbolic in nature. Content is the concrete description before interpretation turns it into, meanings, desires, intents and judgments. There is no meaning without context. Content depends on context to give it life.

    see?

    Agreed..
I am way guilty of being a perfectionist and DEMANDING that in others resulting in my being an introvert of my own making.
Your, You’re-were we’re- There, their, they’re being misused is a pet peeve and something I should overcome but at the same time when someone that is supposedly using the English language mangles it repeatedly I cant help that thinking if they would learn correct usage that MAYBE their posts will be taken more seriously by those of us that MIGHT think “this guy cant get a handle on the language, why should I care much about what he has to say?”
Dropping out of school @ 11th grade is no excuse as the correct usage of above was taught to me in somewhere around the 3rd grade.
I realize I come off as some kind of pompous ass but in my honest opinion if no one will step up and point out the constant misuse of the above, the user wont learn leaving their post less effective and could possibly influence others that are not quite sure the correct usage to make the same mistakes resulting into a continuous dumbing down of humans that imho seems to systematically be fomented by design..
Just my opinion, I could be wrong..
