More On The Benghazi Coverup

BY Herschel Smith

Via David Codrea, see this post at Gateway Pundit.  It’s slam full of information, including why he deep state attacked General Michael Flynn.  I always told you it was a hit job.

One of the allegations (I take to be true) is that there was weapons trafficking conducted on behalf of John McCain and The Clinton Foundation.  We already knew this, as there was not only weapons but precious gems, oil, money and children being trafficked due to the failed states in North Africa.

The only thing I question (perhaps disagree with) is that he seems to indicate that Ambassador Stevens’ death was an accident and caught the deep state by surprise.

I don’t believe this.  I believe that the deep state had him killed because he also knew far too much and the deep state had lost use for him.  His mission to recover weapons had proven unsuccessful and impossible.

That is sadly, rather True. Nobody among the Traitors Involved will face any “Justice”, for there Is None in the FUSA. Stevens’ Death was perhaps, ‘justice’, as up to the point He lost usefulness to the Conspiracy, He was as Guilty as the Hildabeast.

I Hope that this Incident at least, is Informative to those in the Military who Would be “Heroes” and put themselves into positions where they are Expandable Pawns.

Operation Fast and Furious was the trial run, the test case if you will, for what became Benghazi. Although originally begun under the Bush administration, Fast and Furious didn’t come to fruition until the Obama regime took power.

The official rationale of “Project Gunrunner,” as it was then called, was to run a series of sting operations to catch illegal buyers and sellers of weapons on both sides of the border, but the underlying and genuine motive of the operation was to discredit U.S. gun owners and sellers alike, thereby, it was hoped, weakening opposition to gun control.

“Fast and Furious” was designed as a false-flag attack upon the Second Amendment, the right to keep and bear arms, and legitimate American gun owners and dealers.

Between 2006-2011, ATF agents in Arizona purposefully allowed licensed firearm dealers in Tucson and Phoenix metro areas to sell firearms to illegal straw-buyers, with the intent of tracking these arms to Mexican drug cartels.

The firearms from the straw sales, which numbered some 2,000 guns, began showing up at crime scenes on both sides of the border, but the operation, now called “Fast and Furious,” remained beneath the radar until the shooting death of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in December, 2010. Guns from “Fast and Furious” were recovered at the scene of his death. At that point, the operation blew up and landed on the front page. An investigation ensued in which it was learned that in addition to Agent Terry, 150-200 innocent Mexicans lost their lives as a result of the operation. Not a single senior member of any of the cartels was caught as a result of the operation.

Thanks to a cooperative media and some damage-control by the Obama regime, some Congressional hearings were held, but nothing much was done to punish those responsible. None of the principles so much as lost their job, let alone was criminally-charged or censured in any way. Obama, Holder, Napolitano, et al. came out of the whole thing smelling like the proverbial rose in fact. The hearings had simply been some convenient political theater to dupe the public into believing something was being done – and would end quietly as soon as the scandal dropped off the front page. The old Washington two-step….

The key take-away about “Fast and Furious” is that it taught Obama, Clinton, Holder, Napolitano, et al. that they were effectively above the law and could in fact get away with being gun-runners in everything but name. Not only that, they could literally get away with murder – as the deaths of Brian Terry and all of those Mexicans proved.

At this point, Obama and company were guilty of a number of violations of international, U.S. and Mexican law. Trafficking in arms across national lines; the buying/selling of arms in the black-market; the negligent homicides/murders of Terry and the other victims. Technically, the operation constituted a legitimate casus belli – cause for war – under international law, since the Obama regime had killed Mexican nationals and was operating without sanction.

Having gotten a taste of arms dealing domestically, they decided to take their show on the road internationally – which is where Benghazi comes in.

When Ambassador Stevens, Foreign Service Officer Smith were killed, along with CIA contractors Tyrone Woods and Glen Dougherty, the Benghazi fiasco made it into the news as well. However, again with the help of a compliant press, the White House was able to claim that the attack by the Ansar al-Sharia fighters was spontaneous rather than pre-meditated and prompted by the release of an obscure so-called Islamophobic film “Innocence of Muslims.” In due time, just as with “Fast and Furious,” the furor over the debacle died down and the news cycle moved on in search of fresher stories.

The real heart of the Benghazi debacle, however, was that during the long hours of the siege, neither President Obama or Secretary of State Clinton authorized a rescue mission of any kind, despite numerous options for rescuing and/or supporting the besieged personnel. Those who died were sacrificed to protect Obama, Clinton et al. from exposure as the arms dealers primarily responsible for arming ISIS and al-Qaeda jihadists and terrorists fighting against the Assad government in Syria.

When Libyan President Kaddafi was deposed and then killed, U.S. and NATO forces acted to seize his arms warehouses. These weapons, ammunition, and other ordnance were funneled, via CIA and other cutouts, through Benghazi and then to the groups themselves. One former senior Defense Department intelligence official, stated “The consulate’s only mission was to provide cover for the moving of arms. It had no real political role.” However, after a pro forma Congressional investigation absolving the regime with any wrong-doing, the matter came to an apparent end.

To astute observers, however, it was clear that both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton had – yet again – gotten away with murder.

I seem to remember that at least one AZ gun seller refused to sell weapons as prescribed by US government agents. While I’m not a fan of the laws of men, this owner and perhaps others, sensed something wrong. Few men in this day and age understand when to follow the rules of men when not to. It’s a wisdom swiftly being lost to us. Government said so, is not the Law of God, it’s not even logical that it would be good idea, there is a higher law.

If there were such business owners, then kudos to them for having the courage to follow their convictions – probably at risk to their businesses, FFL licenses, etc. Tough spot for the owner of a gun store; he probably didn’t sign on for agency black-bag ops, but may have been “volunteered” anyway.

The “Benghazi Coverup”? What’s that….? NEWSFLASH Nobody cares.
The vast majority of America didn’t give a rats ass when it happened almost a decade ago…..and they care even less now. It’s a NONSTARTER.
A waste of time and effort. As far as the typical lefty and the lame stream media whores ANY Demonrat in office can do ANYTHING they wish and be considered BLAMELESS and innocent. Cankles the Killer could execute
children in Times Square on LIVE TV and she’d STILL be a viable candidate for the White House as far as MILLIONS of brain dead voters are concerned.

Sadly, you are more right than not, which is why I term present-day America “post-constitutional” and de facto a banana republic. We used to be a nation of laws, but we have instead become a nation of men. The rot has been long-lasting, too, since the ruling class – the so-called “American aristocracy” – has been making up their own rules for a long time.

It’s been fully a half-century since Senator Edward “Teddy” Kennedy killed poor Mary-Jo Kopechne, and got away with it scot-free thanks to his father having the clout to protect him from prosecution. The Left went on to elevate Kennedy into something of a statesman, the “Lion of the Senate” is what they called him. Don’t know whether to laugh or sneer when reading that one.

Yes, good ole Ted could have written a book on how to get away with murder and become a success, because that’s certainly what happened to him. Bill and Hillary Clinton were taking notes, too, and have followed Ted’s path since then.
