Lowered Standards In The Green Berets
BY Herschel Smith5 years, 10 months ago
Two Army Green Berets are fighting for their military careers after being associated with an anonymous email that accused their commanders of lowering standards to enable more soldiers — particularly female — to graduate from its prestigious Q-course.
The anonymous email, signed, “A concerned Green Beret,” accused the leaders of the school of “moral cowardice” for lowering the standards, and weakening instructors’ ability to discipline students as they look to get further through the pipeline.
“[The school] has devolved into a cesspool of toxic, exploitive, biased and self-serving senior officers who are bolstered by submissive, sycophantic, and just-as-culpable enlisted leaders,” the email said. “They have doggedly succeeded in two things; furthering their careers, and ensuring that Special Forces [are] more prolific but dangerously less capable than ever before.”
One of the specific complaints was that the Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQC), commonly referred to as “Q-course,” was restructured so that there were “no physical barriers to earning the coveted Green Beret.”

The Marine Corps, which was the most resistant, has made recent headlines for integrating a female platoon into a previously all-male battalion at Parris Island, S.C., and for its first female Marine officer graduating from the Scout Sniper Unit Leaders Course.
As I’ve said before, the communist project is nearly complete. And the country’s leadership was and continues to be a willing and culpable partner.

Viewed from one perspective, this is yet another set-back for traditional Americans and their values. However, viewed from another, perhaps more cynical point-of-view, developments such as these should be welcomed – as they can only “red-pill” more people to open their eyes to the cold hard realities of what is happening.
Special ops personnel who lose faith in their units, their leaders, and the military as an institution – will be welcomed as allies by trad Americans. Trust is the coin of the realm where the cohesiveness of military units is concerned, and nowhere is this more true than in the most-elite formations and units. The presence of women, the dilution of standards, rampant P.C. – special ops soldiers, the “best of the best,” tend to be very bright men anyway – and they are surely connecting the dots about what is happening. In the long run, that is very much a good thing.

Not surprised at all. Why not eliminate jump school, PT, hand-to-hand combat training, and all of the other unfair requirements that becoming an SF trooper must show that he is proficient in. That’s where we’re headed, why wait?

ragman: That would save money that in the minds of our betters is better spent on defense contractors. Since like NASA after the end of the Apollo project the militaryis rapidly being converted into a social welfare program (note the names of those killed, and not mentioned in that article, that the untrusted CiC officers were black), indeed, why wait?
The military is only very tangentially being used to protect the nation, and not at all against the greatest invasion in human history. Keep our ever more neglected nuclear deterrent in place such as it is, only the pesky detail of keeping the sea lanes open remains.

I care because I’m a proud graduate of some of those (Marine) courses when they were brutally hard.
With a possible civil war looming, I’m okay watching our ground combat forces corrupted into weakness. This crap also runs the Social Justice nonsense in the face of male warriors – who will face a moment of truth decision at some point and will hopefully honor their oaths.

There is a reason it is called Special Operations and not Special Olympics.

The left, a term that must now include the Republican Party and the NRA, needs an army. Not mentioned in the below linked excellent (shameless, despicably shameless) article is the little factoid that the po po are the standing army being sent against YOU, while the US military protects the mineral interests and sea lanes for the same people who have loosed theese po po against YOU while the southern border is wide open. Obviously, YOU don’t matter. They’re going to kill us all, it’s what they do.
