I’m assuming the fan is to force smoke and muzzle lead dust downrange past the shooter; anyone know for sure? (.22s use all-lead bullets and generate a LOT of very fine lead dust just downrange past the muzzle). I wonder if he also usesit when practicing with jacketed centerfire ammo.
It’s cold enough – you can see his breath – that cooling isn’t needed, but the fan would be a handy accessory when temps get high as well.
