Jerry’s a bad one to compare yourself to. My youngest son put somewhere between half a million and a million rounds downrange in his workup to deployment in Iraq.
Jerry said in one video that he estimates he has put 7 million rounds downrange. Multiply that times the cost per round. Don’t even include the cost of living and housing.
You have to be sponsored for that kind of range time. We’re not.

Yes. $1.8 million @ .27 a round ppu 55gr. It’s all about speed in competition, is it efficient in real life? Like having a full auto and burning through ammo. In a grid down https://www.eenews.net/stories/1060254751/ the goal would be to preserve ammo and be certain in your targeting, no?

For Jerry Miculek it probably is efficient. But then in addition to his millions of practice rounds, he is pretty close to being a genetic freak when it comes to shooting. Probably one in millions can do what he is able to do with hand/eye coordination, muscle and breath control and other physical traits that lead to being a world class shooter. I can shoot. I am a decent shot. But I would never be in his class.
