Tim Harmsen at the linked article says (15 min mark) that he hardly ever oils his BCG and basically runs it dry while wiping it with a dry rag every once in a while and it never malfunctions with the carbon buildup acting as a dry lube…because…wait for it…Stoner wasn’t an idiot. So, um, there’s that.
