Trump Judge On AWB

News from Chicagoland.

A federal appeals court on Thursday upheld a county-wide ban on assault weapons and limits on magazine capacity. The three-judge panel rendered a unanimous opinion for the court, including the assent of Trump appointee Judge Amy Joan St. Eve.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit found that two Cook County, Illinois residents who sought to challenge these restrictions came “forward with no reason — much less a compelling one,” to revisit the court’s own precedent establishing such rules as constitutional.

A U.S. District Court judge dismissed the lawsuit last year, and the three-judge panel upheld that ruling on Thursday.

[ … ]

“As the court recognized, states have broad authority to pass public safety laws to protect their citizens, including laws prohibiting assault weapons and large-capacity ammunition magazines,” he said.

Thanks Amy.  What did you do – lie on the questionnaire, or did Trump fail to question you on your knowledge of the second amendment?  Who do we blame for this?

There is little if no difference in judges appointed by Democrats or Republicans.
Seems like 99% are on board with the statist agenda.

How strange, indeed. There’s no constitutional underpinning on which to base such a judgement. That means the judges made their ruling out of whole cloth.

That is, they pulled it out of their nether regions.

The number lawyers and judges that actually admit to the true meaning of the Second Amendment is miniscule. The “education” system was one of the FIRST to be infiltrated and suborned with the “law schools” being number one in importance. NO lawyer gets through ANY such school without a MASSIVE dose of propaganda and indoctrination on IGNORING
the Bill of Rights in favor of governmental power. To lawyers and judges the Constitution is AT BEST a curiosity and for most a minor impediment to their agenda, to be twisted, contorted and if necessary totally ignored.

So where is the right of the CITIZEN to be protected from illegal aliens? Are not “sanctuary cities” contrary to the public’s safety? Where it the CITIZEN’S right to self-defense?

When seconds count, police are only minutes away… Apparently, someone cannot do the math.

We have entered a time and place that we fought to avoid – the police-state.

    The short answer.

Mike Vanderbough: “I was once asked by a citizen disarmament advocate, a follower of the Bradys, what I thought about more firearm restrictions. I began to answer when he impatiently broke in, “Give me the short answer.” I replied, “Okay. . . If you try to take our firearms we will kill you.” All the fellow could do was stare at me in disbelief. This is the restated meaning of “shall not be infringed.” Some people, however, have to have it translated for them. Believe me, the NRA is the least of the citizen disarmament advocates’ problems.

TL;DR: A man must make up his mind, ahead of time. We must purpose in our heart that we will not bow down. This is important; this making sure that you will not equivocate.

Beware the history that is taught to you about the man whose image graces the largest statue in an empire’s capital city (Hint: Abraham Lincoln). Nebuchadnezzar was such a king, a ruler of much of the world in his time. He had his craftsmen make a very large statue from gold in the plain of Dura, in the capital province of Babylon. The king decreed that everybody should come to see and worship the great statue.

“Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.”

Then the king had all of his leadership demand that everyone, all of his subjects, bow down to this Golden Image. But some precious few would not. So the king’s captains and sheriffs reported on these men who would not submit to the king’s decree so that they might be burned alive for refusing the kings demands of Idol Worship. And the captains and sheriffs told the king; “They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.”

This is the worship of a man, a sin against God, all sin is against God. There is only one King that lives forever.

“Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.”

Even if our God does not save us, here and now, we will not bow down to government in Idol Worship, they said. Note that these men were “not careful” in their answer.

This is a classic Sunday School lesson told to children, but it’s told as a fairy tale by grown children who know not the application. They teach this lesson in the American government run churches all across the country but the teachers can’t dare say what the truth is. The story is so far lost on this generation that I doubt they scarcely would recognize its plain truth. The truth is that defiance of ungodly government is a duty unto a holy and righteous Christ. Perhaps you’ve heard; “Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God”. Say this to a modern day church pastor and he, will admonish you to submit to his unholy allegiance with the Internal Revenue Code.

A man must make up his mind, ahead of time. We must purpose in our heart that we will not bow down. This is important; this making sure that you will not equivocate. There was a shooting at a regional college in Oregon a few years back. Several students lost their lives that day. The gunman put the students on their knees and asked them one by one if they were Christian. Those who said, “No.” he let live. But even after seeing their classmates, their friends, brains splattered against the floor and walls, one after one, the followers of Christ Jesus said; “Yes, I am a Christian.”

Two things have I purposed in my heart; I will not deny my LORD and I will not surrender my weapons. I will not bow down and I will insist, knowing full well that it is likely a futile endeavor to continue to demand that I be left free to follow the duties that our God demands of us, for no rights come but of our duties unto God. I don’t know what will happen but I will stay in the fight.

    A fiction?
“Honey, for 17 years we warned them. We went to every rally, joined 2A organizations however fickle, we wrote or representatives emailed and called constantly, for 17 long years as it got worse and worse. We even met with our leaders face to face. We’ve done all we could, all that God demanded of us, it’s time.” The answer comes as a faint, “I know.” as you grab your pack and walk out the door: for the last time?

But it gets harder. The question comes, the one you knew was coming. You’ve been waiting. You hope upon hope that you’ve done what had to be done. He asks, “About those 4 men you killed, and the 3 wounded, the 2 houses you burned down, and the train you helped cause to derail, why did you do it?” You answer; “LORD, I warned them, for 17 years by every means possible, and yes Sir, I could have warned them more but I warned them of their violation of your Natural Law and Revealed Law, I warned them of your Holy covenants, I railed at them about the very contractual covenants that they had made among men, that they themselves had willfully abandoned to the detriment of all. Holy Creator, I warned them that I would never go back under the yoke of bondage again, I warned them over and over, and still they would not listen.”

May the LORD find you preparing well this day.
