The Trump administration is reportedly considering a pitch from former NBC Chairman Robert Wright, a presidential pal, for a research program aimed at preventing mass shootings by electronically monitoring people who have received psychiatric diagnoses. That Orwellian plan may or may not be defeated by its utter impracticability.
Wright has dubbed his idea SAFEHOME—an acronym for Stopping Aberrant Fatal Events by Helping Overcome Mental Extremes. The Washington Post reports that his three-page proposal imagines using “technology like phones and smart watches” to “detect when mentally ill people are about to turn violent.” The idea, the paper says, is to look for “small changes that might foretell violence.”
Ouija boards, palm readers, witches, warlocks, carnival fortune tellers, tribal witchdoctors, and “small changes that might foretell violence.”
It’s all the same thing to me, and if you have any sense at all, you too. The Bible clearly says that those guilty of divination will not inherit the kingdom of heaven, and that the Lord hates such people (Galatians 5:19-21, Leviticus 19:24-32, Deuteronomy 18:9-15, Jeremiah 27: 9-19, Exodus 22: 18-19, 1 Samuel 15:23, Isaiah 2:5-8).

I met a young lady this week who has been Christian for several years now, and I believe that she truly believes and she marveled that a man would be on the street rightly dividing the Word of God and seeking those who might be showed how it is that they too can come into the Kingdom of God. She had never seen such a thing, nobody teached her that this is our duty as commanded by Holy God and when she saw it, of course it clicked, by the Holy Spirit of God. She has spent her time under wicked preaching making all men to be consumerists of God. Pray for her that she might be a 2Timothy2:1 servant among the lost women and that she break free from the 2Timothy3 curse of this generation “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power…” We, Her and I, before a thrice Holy God, made a record, a covenant with God, that she serve Him in spreading His Gospel by showing the lost from His holy word how it is that they might be saved. Please pray she follows.

2) You must know that you are under judgment. And the price on sin is wrath and hell. You are already guilty. You know you are. Just face it.

3) You must know that you can’t save yourself. No works or being a good enough person can do it. God is the Judge therefor you can’t save yourself.

Wages are what you are paid. Your work to save yourself is of no account, it is of death.
4) You must know that only Jesus can save you.

His covenant promise is available today, for whosoever, for you “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;”… If in your true and humble belief, in faith, taken on His Holy Word that by grace are ye saved through faith by our LORD Jesus Christ who wants to save you; if you believe these things and invite Him, He will come into your heart and save you this moment.

Lord Jesus, please help us to believe!

5) You must know that they are saved by the grace of God, by faith in Christ through His finished work on the cross.
