Woman Puts Injured Bobcat In Her Car
BY Herschel Smith5 years, 1 month ago
Via WiscoDave, this ridiculous report.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials say if you see an injured animal, do not pick it up and put it in your car.
CPW tweeted that a woman found an injured bobcat on the side of the road. She placed the cat in the backseat of her car next to her child.
Officials were able to remove the cat and say it was too injured to react to the woman putting it in her car.
She’s blessed that cat didn’t rip her child’s eyes out. These are feral animals. Teach people not to do that.

Now come on, what cat lover wouldn’t want to pet such a magnificent kitty? It’s just that most people have the good sense not to.
In the bottom photo with the article you get a much better idea of the situation. I sure wouldn’t touch something that looks that ornery.

Any dumb bint, anywhere, anytime. What should have happened is she should have called a man, not police, a man – her man, who should have told her not to touch it and he should have went and put a bullet in its head to end its misery and tossed it off the side of the road. Done.

Yeah, well, not everyone thinks.
My best friend and his brother were driving into town one night and hit a bobcat. It was knocked out, but still alive. The decided to save its life, so took it (on his lap in a pickup truck) to Dr. Sophia. They woke her up and she came out and opened up her vet clinic for them. Dr. Sophia was one of those vets who was really good with animals, but barely tolerated people. She was an immigrant from some eastern bloc country – don’t know where.
Anyway, they got the bobcat on the exam table and about that time it woke up. They gave the bobcat the clinic.
At least my friend learned a valuable lesson without getting torn up. He said if it ever happened again, he’d just shoot it then skin it out.

It is a sad state of affairs that we need to TEACH people not to do that!
