In CA, purchasing ammo online is now, essentially, not an option. Online purchases of ammo require shipment of said ammo to a CA FFL, to which the purchaser must physically travel to pick-up the ammo, after completing a background check and, of course, paying extra fees for putting the FFL through all the trouble.
