Trump’s Transgression, Trump’s Mistake

“…Trump’s transgression in his words was that Trump was violating the foreign policy of the USA – read carefully here – as articulated and decided upon by the “interagency.” The interagency or NSC, is the alliance of State, CIA, NSA, DOD, DHS, etc., Treasury too, who decide foreign policy collectively. HUD probably does not have a rep on interagency. IRS probably not either. Commerce Dept probably no rep there. This group sets foreign policy- they run the USA. Trump tried to go outside that and this is the source of the complaint- the firsthand people like Vindman went to Ciaramella or whoever tf this clown is, and used him as a focus point given his contacts with Adam Shitt to fashion the complaint…
Doubtless true. For me, the Trump mistakes run deeper.
Trump made a huge error in surrounding himself with bad people. I think he is an awful judge of character because he essentially has no character himself. He left Comey in charge for too long. He left McCabe in place for too long. He has had deep state hacks in charge of very important positions for too long, and didn’t empty the offices of the Department of State as soon as he walked in the door. Reince Priebus was a big mistake, but I repeat myself. General Kelly was an equally big mistake, but McMaster was nearly the biggest mistake of all, perhaps right after Comey. No, correction. The biggest mistake of all was the absolute zero, Jeff Sessions, who left the deep state active, and even defended it.
He could also have made progress on the wall on the Southern border if he had chosen to focus on it early on in his tenure. Ironically, I think he wanted a delayed wall and to be surrounded by the deep state. He wanted the drama of the deep state to penetrate his presidency, and he wanted both the deep state and the wall as issues to run on in 2020. Also ironically, 2020 may be too late for him.
His big mistake for me is his love of big government and gun control.

Agree on the staffing issues. However many of them require Senate approval and the turtle and other traitors in the Senate were never going to allow him to have non-swamp people in positions to do damage to the deep state. But you are correct time was wasted when he first took office. He could have forced a lot down their throats if he had played his cards right.
So what we have now is a President surrounded by deep state operatives. So, in effect, the election did not matter in many ways. A recent example is Syria. Trump states we are getting out. He has a talk with Lindsey Graham and now we are building two new bases and adding troops to “protect the oil”. We will never be out. I wonder how Trump would feel if the Mexican drug cartels invaded and occupied some Texas oil fields and “protected the oil”. What right legal or moral do we have to withhold another country’s resources from them?
His gun control stupidity is the worst thing. He directly lied about the issue when running for office. He is primarily responsible for the recent proliferation of the “Red Flag” laws. I still think he was better than HRC. We may have gone to war with Russia had she been elected. She was calling for a no-fly zone in Syria.
The problem we face in 2020 is what to do when faced with Warren vs Trump. In any outcome the next election could be the last one. The debt is not going to be addressed and at this point any way to handle it will be very bad. As in great depression x10 bad. The immigration problem is also not going to be fixed. As those who testified for the impeachment hearings said today ” the security of the Ukraine is of vital interest to the U.S. ” Apparently more vital than the security of the U.S. A a famous man said: “We are Screwed”.

It’s seems a catch 22 to me. We wanted an outsider – and want another one in 5 years. But an outsider won’t really know how things get done in DC, so he is absolutely required to depend on some insiders.
Trump’s first big mistake was to listen to Pence and let him run the transition instead of Chris Christie. That’s how we ended up with Sessions as AG instead of Christie and the whole Flynn mess. I don’t agree with Christie on some subjects but the guy is a brawler who doesn’t take crap from bureaucrats – the opposite of Sessions.

I think Chris Christie is arguably much worse than Pence. A decent man would not sign such a law as this: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2013/08/19/chris-christie-gay-conversion-therapy-new-jersey/2671197/

Trump’s biggest mistake is allowing Brennan to keep his Top Secret clearance. Brennan once voted for a communist in a presidential election. There is simply no excuse for Brennan to be anywhere near the levers of power. Some say he’s still running the CIA and I wouldn’t be surprised if this is true. Trump is a convenient tool of the Deep State, a puppet that is controlled by the elites. The ’20 election hinges on the stock market and the economy. If the elites want him to be elected they will pull out all of the stops to ensure that the markets continue to rise. If they want him gone, the markets will crash in 2020 before the election. His closest advisors are globalist elites and if he “fires” one of them said ex employee is replace by another globalist elite. If we get four more years of Trump or four years of Warren(Princess Gray Beaver) what difference does it really make? We are losing our states, our liberty and our freedom on a daily basis. This will not end well!

In the rear-view mirror department, should’ve started with
1) pick Rottweiler-loyal friend as initial Chief of Staff, followed by
2) “All non-career/appointed personnel in all agencies, assistant/deputy department head or higher will have their letters of resignation on my Chief of Staff’s desk NLT 1200 hours of inauguration day.” Then pick chaff from grain, the former typically outnumbering the latter & good riddance. Day to day stuff done by the rank & file would go on – it always does. It’s not called the Leviathan for nothing.

Every Billionaire MUST “love big government”. They could not have amassed their huge wealth without the direct and/or indirect help of “big government”. These money-misers push for specific laws which benefit only them. Us ‘Plebes’ get a different set.
Too bad their goals are to amass treasures on Earth …
