Wayne LaPierre, the embattled chief executive of the National Rifle Association, banked a 57 percent pay hike last year — amid the din of calls for him to retire, a report said.
The nonprofit group’s latest tax filings show LaPierre received a base salary of $1.3 million, plus a bonus of $455,000 and “other reportable compensation” of more than $427,000, The Washington Post reported Friday.
LaPierre, 70, also received an additional $73,793 in “retirement and other deferred compensation” and “nontaxable benefits” from the NRA and related entities, according to the filings.
That’s why y’all keep begging for more money, isn’t it Wayne?
Hey, I have a suggestion. I’ll do the job better, and for 1/3 of the pay. What do you say?

I burst out laughing at this headline. Thanks. That’s the funniest thing.
You’ve been red flagged by Trump, with the support of Wayne who was in the room when Red Flag laws were brought up and he did NOT object. He’s doing a great job at the actual NRA mission, Gun Control. Why wouldn’t he get a huge raise? Red Flag Laws are the greatest Gun Control achievement in it’s history. Not since the Nazis has such a thing been done. He deserves the raise and all the while the retards, millions of them, continue to support the NRA and the Republican Party all the way to the railyard. Enjoy the camps.

You’re a bit expensive. I’ll do it for 25% of the pay and hire you for 33%. “Team” concept.

You may be less expensive than Wayne, but how are you at selling your friends and benefactors up the river? How are you at kissing ass? Not so hot at the important stuff, I’ll bet.

Frank Clarke makes some good points. I’m not sure I could do that (kiss ass, etc.)

If you say, “It’s none of my money”, guess again.
Anyone who ever purchased guns, ammo, shooting/hunting supplies, outdoor apparel, camping gear, nature conservation tools, Boy Scout, Survivalist stuff, and many other items, HAS contributed to NRA – indirectly. This also includes clicks on other alleged pro-2A websites, or subscribing to certain Pay-TV channels.
Manufacturers, on-line outlets, sporting-goods stores, and/or the lobbying and/or trade organizations for the above (except may D!ck’s ?) ALL ‘donate’ to the NRA for big, fat Tax-Deductions. It’s nice to be a 501c3 (“nontaxable benefits”) …
