Hickok45 Shoots 350 Legend

I don’t normally link him up, but this is a fairly nice rifle and he has a good experience with it. It looks like he’s shooting Wilson Combat 350 Legend magazines, and his accuracy looks good.

I was finally able to get out and shoot my Bear Creek Arsenal 350 Legend on the Rock River lower.
Using CMMG 10-round mags, I went through 2 boxes of Winchester 145 gr. FMJ.
Because I got to the shooting area a little later in the morning, (BLM land, popular shooting spot near me) I was not able to set up targets to test for accuracy/group size, without putting myself at risk for getting shot by idiots.
But, it was primarily a function test outing, and the rifle performed very well. I had no jams and pretty much hit everything I shot at out to ~100 yards, as long as I did my part. Someone had hung an old fire extinguisher in a tree, and I really got that sucker swinging when I hit it. I have not done any mods to the upper, at all, besides clean it when I got it. A lot of folks will polish the feed ramps, but I’m not seeing that I need to do that, so for.
I was running a cheap Caldwell brass catcher, and that caused me some problems, but mostly I couldn’t get it tight enough and it was dropping brass at my feet, which I didn’t mind.
Anyway, recoil was no worse than shooting a 5.56mm, that I could notice. I had a 5.56 AR next to me and shot it after shooting the 350 Legend for comparison.
