Speeches At Richmond Rally

This Facebook link is a video of the speeches at the Richmond rally. The speeches begin at about 2:09 (that’s two hours and nine minutes into the video). Before that it shows helicopter video surveying the scene, along with rooftop snipers.
Rooftop snipers. How ridiculous.
Sheriff Sheriff Scott Jenkins of Culpepper County speaks. To him, it appears that his promise to deputize thousands means they get to keep their firearms because they are now LEOs, not because he might need them to keep agents of the state from infringing on the rights of citizens in his county.
I suggest that someone in Culpepper County take him out for coffee and have a long conversation with him.

A Virginia sheriff who talks of deputizing un-trained voters does not impress me much. If he were to put up a training plan for the swarthy stalwarts, I’d be more impressed.
If that Sheriff was to get to talking about his designated roadblocks in his AO done in order to prevent agents of his state from coming in to enforce newly-passed laws of Richmond, then maybe I’d have a bit more trust in what he says.
If that Sheriff said that he had designated jail cells for the Richmond folks that he plans to arrest as they attempt to enforce their new views: well then he could be a person I respect.
Until then: No. Hell no. A Sheriff, anywhere in the FUSA, is just another politician until he proves himself otherwise.
