Virginia Gun Laws Update
BY Herschel Smith4 years, 9 months ago
RICHMOND, Va. — Virginia’s Senate Judiciary Committee passed several gun control bills Monday morning.
Those bills tackle everything from universal background checks (S. B. 70- Background Checks), one gun a month limit, (S.B. 69- One-Gun-a-Month Limit), red flag laws, firearms and ammunition to be controlled by localities (S.B. 35- Local Authority), as well as firearms being restricted at public events.
Each bill was brought before the committee and discussed at length with some amendments included. For five minutes opposers and supporters were able to speak on the bills.
For five minutes. The best argument against it is that it violates God’s laws. The simplest argument they can understand is that there isn’t an army big enough to enforce any of it if Virginians are determined in their opposition.
Apparently, the AWB is struggling a bit.
Several Senate Democrats have already said they are unlikely to back the governor’s ban on so-called assault weapons, such as the popular AR-15-style rifles – a key part of Northam’s gun-control package. The House version of the bill has also not advanced.
The assault weapons legislation has drawn the fiercest pushback, as gun-rights advocates accuse Democrats of wanting to confiscate such rifles from current gun owners. Northam has said he has no interest in doing so.
An estimated 8 million AR-style guns have been sold since they were introduced to the public in the 1960s. The weapons are known as easy to use, easy to clean and easy to modify with a variety of scopes, stocks and rails.
Oh my. Eight million is a very low estimate. I would guess twice that number. Anyway, reader Fred makes a good point when he says that the most dangerous thing to come out of the controllers is the red flag laws.
And listen to this statement of one communist from Arlington.
“For too many years this body has put the convenience of gun owners above all else,” said Democratic Del. Patrick Hope.
Change the wording a bit.
“For too many years this body has put the convenience of Christians above all else, allowing them freedom of speech, unmitigated access to worship and their Bibles” said Democratic Del. Patrick Hope.
How does that strike you? They are both God-given and constitutionally recognized rights, yes?

1. Red Flag laws usurp God, by attempting the divine the future and heart of a man.
2. Red Flag laws are an act of war, by the deprivation of the means of making war.
3. Red Flag laws break the covenant of government, by which we attempt to live in peace one with another, through destruction of BoR (I know).
4. Red Flag laws break hundreds of years of Western Jurisprudence from the time of the Magna Carte (I know) and before.
This is about the first point. There is no such thing as a sin against another man. All sin is against Holy God. By a judge taking a man’s guns “before” he commits a murder, the State is attempting to save the man from the condemnation of killing somebody. The State is attempting to save the man’s soul from that sin. The State, is claiming the authority to be a christ, a redeemer of men’s sins. This is a blasphemy of the highest order…and the America Church applauds it as oh so very and only “reasonable.”
Who then ordains these judges? What of them? By what authority do those men create christs to force an absolution for a thing unknowable, the future acts of men? Oh sweetie, you know not the wrath that comes. Fear God!
There can only be one God and one Christ. “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.”
Here are some of the Laws and Ordinances and commands of God that these laws of men violate:
“Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”
“Thou shalt not kill.”
Deuteronomy 18:10-11 “There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.”
Romans 1:31-32 “Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”
Romans 2:1-3 “Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?”
Revelation 21:8 “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
Note well that this isn’t some Old Testament code for the Hebrews, so even if you are a dispensationalist these are God’s immutable truth.
The sad part is, that I actually feel bad for the men that are making and implementing these laws, for they are without excuse and we can only reckon that they will be judged out of their own law. How shall you escape the judgement, will you create a christ to save you too?
Think about the devils subtlety in the Garden:
“For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”
Oh what foolish foolish fools.

“Thou shalt not kill” is a bad translation from Hebrew. It really says “Thou shall not murder”.

8 million? Boy are they in for a surprise when they finally do pass a confiscation law!

I often quote 120 million gun owners, 422 million guns, and 300 billion rounds of ammunition, and add the warning that these are all low-ball estimates.
This is not a trivial problem.

The commie left does not believe in God OR the Constitution.
ALL they believe in is POWER….specifically THEIR POWER.
And the ONLY thing that matters to them is gaining power and
control over everyone and everything. Nothing else to them
is relevant.

The convenience of Christians bit won’t be spoken so plainly until those pesky gun owners are brought to heel. Obama wasn’t talking out is backside when he called us bitter clingers.. to guns and religion. This is what the left thinks but tries to hide from the general public. If they said plainly what their end game is there would be none in any office anywhere. Well, maybe CA.
