Disarmament Edicts
BY Herschel Smith4 years, 9 months ago
… Assemblyman David Chiu, resurrected a gun-grabber dream list priority, microstamping, a requirement for firearms to mark an identifier on ammunition casings, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. Disregard for a moment that professional reporter Alexei Koseff and his editors seem confused at times and tell readers the “unique imprint [will be left on] on bullets that are fired.”
That’s not what it’s about anyway, since, after then-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (warned ya!) signed microstamping into law in 2007, manufacturers stopped introducing new models …
It seems to be happening with regularity in places that aren’t otherwise amenable to God-given rights of self defense. Concern for Coronavirus patients isn’t his primary concern. Control of people is.
I’ve said it before, the desire to control others is the signal sociopathology of the wicked. And I hate to say it again, but if you waited until now to get your firearms and ammunition, you waited too late.
From reading reddit/firearms and other sites, it’s obvious that run-of-the-mill progs (i.e., the ones not in charge) who are hunting for weapons at the moment, first of all seem to have given up on their anti-gun fetish (it only takes a pandemic to jettison foolish ideas).
Second, they are finding that it isn’t as easy to get them as they had been told, are having to wait, and are paying higher prices than if they had jettisoned those beliefs long ago. Finally, they’re finding that there is no ammunition.
So sorry. We told you.

Only temporarily. Once the crisis is over social pressure will reign again, and they’ll be streaming selfies of themselves handing over their gun for a Happy Meal card as one of those cheesy “buy-backs”. And they’ll grovel at their masters for having committed such heinous thoughtcrime.

The black market will take up the slack. It always does. Edicts are always aimed at the lawabiding. The Mexican and Canadian borders are running wounds when it comes to guns and narcotics. If guns are getting into the criminals hands the 1% don’t care. They can be controlled.
And then there is the FGC9, a 3D printed firearm that uses zero ‘gun parts’ in its construction, making it a gun anyone, even in Europe, could acquire the parts to build. Makes you wonder why the smugglers don’t just buy a 3D printer and save all that time and trouble.

New Mexico’s Oompah Loompah governoress is sending the state patrol out to close down gun stores who remain open. Apparently, she even accompanied them to Sportsman’s Warehouse in Albuquerque, yesterday.
New Mexico may be a democrat held state, and has been so for nearly 100 years, but the politicians never dared to touch the guns. Even that scumbag carpetbagger traitor to his country, Richardson didn’t go for gun control. He signed a CCW law, which got so watered down as to be meaningless, but he signed it. Apparently, this one thinks it is time to go there. We shall see how this plays out.
