Ya, did that once with a security-six Ruger. Hot loaded 357 mag. Didn’t hot dog it. But it sure felt like it did. Luck has it, I was right next to an ice cold stream. Soaked my thumb in that for a full recovery. And enough PTSD to never to that again!
