Communion Is Not Part Of “Core Worship”

… in Knox County, Tenn., where the health department just announced that while churches may reopen on May 1, the Lord’s Supper is forbidden.
The order was announced by Knox County Health Department Regional Hospital Coordinator Charity Menefee, who announced that Communion is not part of “core worship.”
“The Community Strategy for Phased Reopening is complementary to Governor Lee’s ‘Tennessee Pledge: Reopening Tennessee Responsibly’ framework and the White House’s ‘Opening Up America Again’ guidance,” the edict explains. “Local government has been empowered to create strategies relevant to the unique needs of the community.”
“If there are differences between the plans, the community should follow this local plan,” the document explains. The order lists the rules for reopening a wide variety of businesses including restaurants, spas, tattoo parlors, and museums. It also allows churches to hold services, provided they follow the county’s stringent guidelines that include social distancing, sanitizing surfaces between services, treating every partitioner “as if they are potentially dangerous,” and a requirement that everyone in attendance at Knox County churches wear a mask—unlike stores and restaurants, where employes and patrons are only required to wear a mask when social distancing cannot be maintained.
Meanwhile, the Lord of the universe is still saying this even today: “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
These words will live long after these usurpers, posers, impostors, fakes and tyrants are in hell.

Charity Menefee is an Air National Guard officer, thus an oath breaker in addition to everything else.

Sometimes the workers of iniquity toss a softball so very sweet that if we’re not seeking the Lord in everything, we might totally miss it.
What is, Core Worship?
A question that can only lead one to fall upon their face in a manner of the soul that the words of men cannot even begin describe or convey.
Thank You Miss Charity.
“But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.” Act 7:55-56
Now, if I can just pull myself back together here…
You are a Sinner, but there is a way, a Mediator, as the offer of Holy God is to translate you into the Kingdom of His dear Son.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” Romans 3:23-26
There are consequences for Sin. This must be faced by you and accepted in this life, before it is too late. God owes you nothing, but will recompense your sin by death and wrath and hell, that is the wage.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:15
At every turn we are warned but also made the offer of forgiveness. I beseech you this day, take the offer.
How much good works do you have to do to have eternal life in Christ Jesus? How many good things, how much charity? Your work is as filthy rags, except that you firstly do the first work of God. The first work is to believe that the Father has sent His Son to seek and to save that which is lost.
“Then said they [those very religious doers of good works in the law, the Sanhedrin] unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” John 6:28-29
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
If we believe that He died to save our soul, paid our ransom in full by His blood, and rose from the dead, then it is through Him that we are redeemed and burn not in hell; so that we can then have eternal life, this life which is in Holy God, through His Son, being made a son or daughter of God.
“And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.” 1 John 2:25
This is the record, the new covenant in His blood, a blood covenant with the God that cannot lie, the God that is Holy, The God that is Love. This is the offer of eternal life by salvation in His precious Son, Jesus, the resurrected Christ of God.
“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:” 1 John 5:11-14
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:12-13
Receive Him this day, this very moment, ask Him for you to be made His son or daughter, redeemed, forgiven, made finally free from the law of sin and death, that your soul may be in Him, begotten again not of earthly parents but of the Spirit of Holy God, made a new creature for this, your new King.
The inheritance is but yours for the asking.
“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:” Colossians 1:12-14

Charity must have gotten the word, as the document now (1 May) just says “follow state guidance”. At a minimum, I have to assume Charity has never been inside a Catholic Church, nor seen a mass on TV/YT.

I can’t help reading Miss Charity first line as the Lords Supper is strictly verboten. kind of naziesque don’t you think? I will serve my King according to his word, and you Charity can serve your little gods in your own way. Go pound sand…

Well why wouldn’t they go after Communion (catholic, orthodox, protestant) – after all they have already pretty much destroyed Marriage as one of the Sacraments. It was only a matter of time……………………

Funny, I thought it was that those dudes at the Vatican who decided what constituted Catholic worship.
The Knox County Health Department Regional Hospital Coordinator will be giving them the righteous what-for on liturgy next, I assume.
