Watch List For Militias

I stumbled across this definition (which I’ve never seen because I don’t frequent this web site).

The FBI, on its website, describes this: “Militia extremists … believe that the Constitution grants citizens the power to take back the federal government by force or violence if they feel it’s necessary. They oppose gun control efforts and fear the widespread disarming of Americans by the federal government.”

If you do not believe that the first amendment recognizes the right of amelioration of tyranny by force, you don’t believe that the war of independence was righteous.  Many, of course, don’t even today.  But that aligns them squarely with tyranny as the founders so aptly stated.

If you oppose gun control efforts, I suppose the FBI has a place for you on their watch list.

If you don’t believe that the pols desire the widespread disarming of Americans, you haven’t been listening.  It’s not just the democrats.  GWB famously was in favor of a new AWB after the first one went sunset, but couldn’t get the senate to go along.

    Neither the Declaration nor the Constitution grant the people powers or rights; those are assumed. It only delegates powers to the government, from the people, and further limits those powers.

    Heck, one can argue that it was inevitable from the start (too much open land, resources, etc. the was just begging to be fought over by the world, in one way or another). Books could be written, of course, although most of the books out there are just meant to obfuscate all this and abet the process.

    Of course it does. And the FBI knows this. (BTW, feebies, you might not want to see us doing that. An awful lot of us will skip the court hearings and go directly to lamp posts)

    Generally to all, the wording of that statement by FBI is very important. It sets a baseline, designed to confuse. It sets up the Constitution, a straw man, as the position from which the argument must proceed. This is critical for Christians. Never argue anything from any position except that of fundamental and foundational Christian understanding or you surrender the moral and ethical and only inerrant truth of right and wrong. This is why you MUST read the Holy Bible every day for the rest of your life. You must read it cover to cover, study it, hide His word in your heart.

    The constitution is a piece of paper sitting ignored under glass in some rotund or something. It’s null and void. A contract or covenant that nobody has read, nobody knows what it says, and nobody cares is no contract at all.

    I don’t need your government. I have the government of Holy God, through the Spirit of God in me removing any desire to harm my fellow man at all in any way. Jesus Christ is the biggest threat in the history of all the world because through Him we don’t need governments of men.

    “Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,” 1 Timothy 1:9- the list goes on.

    The government can’t fix america. It can’t, it’s incapable. No government of men by any form or function whatsoever can cause men to live as righteous before the throne of Holy God one toward another in peace and mutual support and cooperation. Ok! No government can save us, ever!

    I don’t need your government and nor do I want it! The sooner the government of the United States implodes under the weight of its own retardation the better a place the world will be.
