   Yeah, you might want to read up on the genocides in FRY and Rwanda. People who *knew* they would be killed went along with it. They willingly waited in lines at Interahamwe checkpoints while carrying Tutsi identity cards. They went where Serbian militias told them to, when they were told to. Don’t put too much faith in a population suddenly rising up. It might happen, but it’s by no means guaranteed.
