Some cats apparently shy awake from a direct confrontation with deadly snakes. Not this one. It’s faster than the snake, and won the battle.
This was a legitimate fight to the death.

And the finale of the familiar (to cat owners) wriggling around on her back gave me a chuckle.

More seriously though, that’s some cat. I like it. Pretty sure that’s a girl, and not full grown. That was a big Rattler none the less. Cats are something alright, what a creation.

I think you’re right. Jerry Clower called a Lynx a “supped up wildcat.”

Had a Lynx cross the street while I was at an airbase in CA back in 2018. The paws were massive compare to fox, wolf, bobcat. Looked abnormally large, and I read that it’s a characteristic of Lynx
