The narrator’s cadence (for me seemingly de-emphasized) and assumption that the listener understands the “fullness” of the debate “anthropic” vs “anti-anthropic” captured my attention. In fact I was not familiar – and my research thus far is minimal.

I would have to give Robert Welch and the John Birch Society a thumbs up. Computer formulated or compiled text or speech on the other hand is pretty easy to spot but it’s getting harder to discern. Pretty soon the government will spend all of its time at bohemien grove (refuses to look up even the proper spelling) and everything the government does will then be fake. More fake? Hmm? Faker? But yes.
Computer originated text and voice is not in the wild yet. It’s still compiled or copied and shuffled from other sources, again in the wild.
I remember when the SCOTUS allowed copywrited music to be used on other “artists” tracks. Right decision of not, copywrite being a good thing or not, the argument for allowing “theft” of tones and sequences of tones was that there are no truly original musical compilations left. Of course this is manure. What the argument should have more accurately stated is that there is nobody in a dumbed down West of modern Hollywood able to create anything original.
I mention the music as allegory to what is coming with computer voice and text. Computers use existing materials from perhaps thousands of sources to simulate “intelligence.” Now, there is a level “intelligence” in gathering and parsing that data, but originality it is not.
