Wayne County Election Board Republicans Sign Affidavits Saying They Were Coerced into Certifying the Election

Things in Michigan took a dramatic turn Wednesday night when two Republican members of the Wayne County Canvassers signed sworn affidavits saying they were bullied and coerced into certifying the election. The four-member board voted to certify the election on Tuesday night. Originally, the two GOP board members voted no. Roughly two hours later, a unanimous vote came down certifying the results.
According to board chair Monica Palmer and GOP member William Hartmann, the county’s corporate counsel, Janet Anderson-Davis, advised the board members that their job was “ministerial” and any concerns they expressed were outside of the board’s authority.
“Late in the evening, I was enticed to agree to certify based on the promise that a full and independent audit would take place. I would have not have agreed to the certification but for the promise of an audit,” Hartmann said in his affidavit. “Vice-Chairman Jonathan Kinloch then assured us that if we voted to certify the election, a full, independent, and complete audit of Detroit’s election, would be undertaken. I relied on this assurance in coming to an agreement. Without this assurance, I would not have agreed to certify Wayne County on November 17th.”

Both members stated they still believe the election results for Wayne County should not be certified.
It’s too late now, you naive, gullible little children. You listened to lawyers, and believed communists. You couldn’t have done anything more stupid.

Our current state of the Republic hinges on the likes of the two Republican canvassers. They backed down under pressure, then want to change their decisions.
Agreed, it’s too late.
We collectively reap all the vote fraud fiasco due to laziness and bowing to fear.

I won’t even talk to people with a hyphenated name. Never trust anybody with a hyphenated name; the man is weak, and the woman is not submitted to Holy God.
It’s important to have simple basic rules applied from the Bible to live a life that bears fruit of righteousness.
This is what post Christian America looks like: women with hyphenated names telling men what to do.

I condemn they backed down in the first place, but believe they’ll have standing to get their signature rescinded. Not a lawyer, but it seems pretty clear that they can argue coercion, especially based on the allegations of threats to family and MI (SecState) breaking agreement to conduct an audit.
Their concerns over voter tote boards not matching are miniscule compared to the electronic vote injection that occurred at around 1131Z on the 4th. Ditto the concern in WI. Tick-tock.
I do agree that Trump should’ve cleaned house Day 1. He was, at once, both naive & ill-served. Thus, here we are with administrative state snug in their bunks.

@Wes,
One of the greatest tricks of the Left is to convince the Right that they are playing by the rules. The Left is at war, deceit is an effective tactic in warfare. The Right will be in the camps still trying to believe that the Left is playing by fair rules, those not of warfare. The Right deserves what’s coming.

Participating in local party organizations is probably about the easiest thing to do. If you just want to carp about what people in the party do, don’t expect much sympathy from here. If if you do come into a party as an iconoclast, don’t be surprised that you don’t have much success.

I didn’t ask for your sympathy. I don’t need it. You have absolutely no idea what I do with my free time.
Nothing you said changes the fact that these two local pols were naive and gullible, and are playing kick ball with their school mates while the dems are going to war.
Just wanting to “carp” has nothing to do with the point.

If the audit were important to them, they would have demanded it be conducted before they certify.
As it is, their signatures are already on the documents. If (big IF) the audit is undertaken at all, there’s nothing saying the audit must be done immediately. It might not be conducted, or the results might not be released, until after Biden is inaugurated.
I’m with Herschel on this one. They negotiated with someone who has every partisan reason to lie to them, they knew it, and they chose to sign anyway.

It’s ultimately not about Trump or Biden or any temporal thing. It is a spiritual battle at its core, though being waged in the natural realm.
Sadly, when it goes to the SCOTUS , it may come down to 1 person deciding whether to preserve the republic or not. And that is damn scary. Of course, God is in control of everything…but
I am convinced that if the traitors prevail and Biden is inaugurated, it will not only mean the end of our republic… because once you go into the cesspool you can’t come back. I am not aware of any nation in history whose government devolved from a constitutional republic to communism, and was able to return to a constitutional republic.
But more importantly – I think it will also signal the end of God’s mercy and long-suffering with us and judgement on America will begin for rejecting him.
