Happy Thanksgiving 2020!
BY Herschel Smith4 years ago
I am thankful for too many things to catalog, but I’ll mention a few big things.
I am thankful first and foremost for salvation through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
I am thankful for my family, God’s blessing to me, both children and grandchildren.
I am thankful for fruitful work.
I am thankful for the measure of liberty I and my family enjoy.
I am thankful for God’s gracious blessings to us, from sustenance to a home.
I am thankful for my eyesight and hearing.
I am thankful for Thanksgiving 2020 and that God has granted me life for this long.
I am thankful for my readers and friends He has given me.
God is greater than any political machinations that could ever occur, and He reigns supreme and sovereign over all. Whatever He has planned for me is better than whatever I would have planned for myself, even if it tests me.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Yep. Vision and hearing are certainly two of the biggest blessings. The miracle of sight is a miracle indeed. Thank you, Lord.
Get out there and do some shooting while you’ve still got it. It doesn’t last forever.
Happy Thanksgiving, all.

Happy Thanksgiving, Mr. Herschel and all.
“So, now it is, that through eternal salvation by the precious blood of Jesus Christ who died for you, and rose again from the dead, that we give thanks, having our heart full of Thanksgiving, this world with thrones and dominions and powers claimed over us having been defeated by Him who created it all in the first place, and created us in the first place, that we be His children so that He might be our God. Amen.
Sure, you can be thankful for food and shelter, peace and prosperity, friends and family, health and joyfulness, and you should be thankful toward God for all of these things for they are no small thing to us, and we can be thankful for much more still since He is the creator and provider of all, but, it’s Jesus Christ and His atoning blood that is the most important and precious gift Holy God offers. In this, our thanksgiving is eternal, for He gives life eternal to those whom He will call, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
You can know this God personally through His Son. Read the rest.

Thank you, Herschel.
And Amen when it comes to God being in charge and laughing at the machinations of men.
I get down in this life, but, I always remind myself the ways of God are far above men, and the perceived wisdom of men is foolishness in the eyes of God.

I’m thankful that my wife and I are still healthy. That I still have a good job that provides not only for us but allows me to share with those less fortunate. That God has given me understanding of the times in order to prepare spiritually as well as physically. A Christian man has a duty before God to defend his family, community, culture, and country. This applies weather the weapon wielded is prayer or the sword.
