Mandatory “Buybacks” Of Guns
BY Herschel Smith4 years ago
But doesn’t the notion of a “buyback” sort of imply it was purchased from the government to begin with? And if it’s mandatory, is it really a “buyback?”
Boy the fraudster has some ringers lined up for his staff, including, by the way, Michele Flournoy for secretary of defense. I know I still have some military readers. If I were you, I’d get out of the military as soon as possible.
You know they’ll have you involved in foreign misadventures servicing the interests of the globalists. Do you really want to die for their interests?

Your comments are dead-on, sir. “Buy-backs” are Orwellian double-speak for confiscation by another name. Of course, the controllers tip their hand with the word “mandatory,” which signals that there’s nothing volitional about this scheme whatsoever. You will “volunteer,” and “you’ll like it.” That sort of thing.
The choice of words is highly-revealing of their mindset, however. Not only are common people to be denied the ownership of the most-effective means of self-defense available to everyday people – firearms – they are also to be denied private property. This is what the communists have in store for us. The fact that some form of money will change hands is simply the window-dressing; their attempt to put lipstick on this tyrannical pig of theirs. And the amount won’t be mutually-agreed upon; they are setting the terms.

Eighty-five years ago, a short but highly-informative booklet called “War is a Racket” was published by author and retired U.S. Marine Corps Major General Smedley L. Butler. Butler, who served as Marine for more than thirty years (1898-1931), was a two-time recipient of the Medal of Honor and at the time of his death in 1940, the most-highly decorated individual in the history of the Corps. He had served in half a dozen major wars and campaigns, and perhaps dozens of smaller ones.
Upon being passed-over for the post of Commandant, Butler ended his career as the senior Marine stationed in China and the commanding officer of USMC forces stationed in that theater, before reentering civilian life. Reflecting back over his long career in uniform, Butler became a pacifist and anti-war activist in his dotage, and embarked upon a well-received nation-wide speaking tour – the gist of which later formed his booklet. He stated,
“I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer; a gangster for capitalism. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902–1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for the American fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went on its way unmolested. Looking back on it, I might have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents.”
Butler, once honored as a member of the nation’s military elite, saw many of his old supporters in Washington and high-society turn against him, not only because of his eventual pacifism, but because Butler helped break-up a 1934 plot to topple President Roosevelt and install a planned fascist-style dictatorship in his place. Butler was roundly ridiculed in some quarters for his statements and claims, but a special investigation by Congress confirmed at least some of his claims. This episode is now known to history as the “Business Plot.”
Returning to Butler’s writings and speeches, he stated that it was his belief that there were only two causes for which ordinary Americans should take up arms and fight – to protect their homes and families, and for the Bill of Rights.

Concur on your advice to those serving. Flournoy has been around for a long time. During my time as a former-Army-now-retired-and-recovering-DA civilian I’ve seen the kind of stuff that can arrive at a HQ over her signature block. Particularly for those who are finally getting a chance to patch up their lives & marriages with a slightly more relaxed deployment cycle, enjoy it now.
The SOC elements will, as usual, be the hardest hit. Those guys need to be prepared to pop smoke. If the lawsuits don’t have their way, it is hard to find a potential foreign entanglement these narcissists haven’t aspired to.

Of course it’s a buy back. The government owns everything, including you, don’t you know? Brings a lot of things into perspective.

I know my Daughter is getting out of the Air Guard this year after 10 years of Regular Air Force and 7 of Guard.
She has been over seas in Qatar and I do not think she wants to go to where they would send her next, if she stayed in.
