Good Advice

We can safely assume that gun sales in calendar year 2021 will be just as strong as 2020, and possibly much stronger. Given Joe Biden’s age and frail health, I expect to see Harris succeed Biden within 18 months. Plan on at least four years of a Democrat in the White House, and possibly much longer, given their proven skill at vote-rigging. That will mean 4+ years of gun, magazine, and ammunition shortages. Sort supplies always lead to higher prices. So we can safely anticipate those prices to exceed the prevailing consumer price inflation. Plan (and invest), accordingly.
As of this writing, the big unanswered question is whether or not the two Republican U.S. Senate candidates will prevail in the January 5th runoff election, in Georgia. If those two seats instead go to Democrats, then that will result in a 50/50 split in the Senate, with the tie votes broken by the President of the Senate: The Vice President of the United States. And odds are, that will be none other than the extreme leftist Democrat Kamala Harris. Needless to say, she has a horrendously anti-gun record.
So here is my advice: If on January 5th the two Senate seats in Georgia go to the Democrats, then you should immediately take any extra cash and buy magazines. Buy lots of 20+ round magazines! This is because one of the top legislative priorities for the Democrats will be a ban on new production for civilian sale of any magazine that can hold more than 10 rounds. That will drive the price of “high capacity” magazines through the roof. Specifically, I recommend buying the following magazines as an investment, even if you do not yet own the corresponding guns …
This is on the tail end of telling you how important it is to own guns and ammunition, and keep buying them if you can.
Guns, ammunition and accessories (such as magazines) will be the new gold standard in the coming weeks, months and years.
I don’t see this getting any better. The days of 50 cents per round 5.56mm are gone forever, and Magpul magazines will not go for $12 one of these days very soon. They will cost much, much more than that.
Even pistol ammunition is now 60 – 70 cents per round, and that’s if you buy in bulk.

I don’t know if firearm sales in 2021 will be quite as strong. Simply because most retailers have little to no stock. I was checking some of the online sellers last night. Places that would have 1000 different makes and models for sale had less than 100. You can find a lot of 22 single action revolvers and for some reason SW Shields, but otherwise it is hit or miss. The demand will be there, but the supply is scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Biden-Harris objectives include a ban on internet/mail order sales of ammunition and gun parts. We had the former from 1968 to 1986. I remember those days well: you were limited to whatever ammo and reloading supplies your local FFL dealer had on hand at the price he wanted for them, and you had to sign for the ammunition in a bound book. Now you would need a license and your purchase would go into a database along with your ID…hmm, have you registered a gun of that caliber? The second part (gun parts) is more insidious. When you have to take a gun to a licensed gunsmith to get a recoil or firing pin spring, that is an opportunity for the State to check and see if that firearm is registered. Although I agree that you need magazines, it is the future difficulty of obtaining primers, powder, jacketed bullets and gun parts that most concern me.

Demand, even if – or maybe especially if – illegal, will be satisfied by someone. Sure, you might not be able to get cheap 5.56 or 9mm or whatever at the local store, but you can bet that someone, probably the same guys who currently supply most of the country’s weed, meth, coke, heroin, etc., will start selling ammo, too.

I constantly remind the youngsters of the nightmare called the 1994 AWB. AR mags were $75 each and Glock mags were over $100 each or restricted to LEO’S. They scoff in disbelief.
You have less than 25 shopping days left, use them wisely.

Jimmy the saint, do you mean that the CIA will supply us the ammo through their conduits?

I remember the Crime Bill Days.
Still have a few AR and a few Glock magazines labeled “export/LE”.
They’re pretty much “range and remember those days”.
Right after The Ban ended there was a literal flood of “up to then not legal to buy” magazines in the back room of the local FunShop.
They’d sold thousands of PD Trade Ins but had to supply “low capacity 10 shot magazines” to sell them to the public.
Nobody wanted “used LE marked mags” during the Ban Years since only PD officers could buy them with “letterhead from the chief” and they may as well get new ones with that much trouble.
I remember seeing the Glock magazines for $100, and if one had the “extended 33 rounders” they were closer to 200.
One piece of advice I’ve tried to stick with, and it was from a while back.
Miss Tam says, when asked how much ammo and how many magazines do you need?
“More.”

One thing to watch out for is a new AWB. They learned their lessons from the last one. Guns, mags and types of ammo will NOT be grandfathered this time. This time it will be a different ballgame. Are you ready to resist? If they ban them and say turn them in, will you comply? What good does it do to just hide them. I don’t think if they announce a total ban you will be able to sell them. Sheep won’t want to rock their world. If you don’t have enough gun/mags/ammo already I doubt you have the skills to use them.

In a civil conflict situation, you only need what you can carry. That’s roughly one rifle, a sidearm, and the ammunition you can carry. If you survive your first engagement, you resupply with the arms and ammo of the enemy you kill.
You can have a huge arsenal, but without the will to use them if it becomes necessary, that arsenal is useless. Get a rifle, become expert in its use. Same case with a sidearm. And that’s pretty much it.

Even if Trump surrenders we must not. We must never surrender our arms, no promising the terms. This is a fight not for the individual to keep his guns but a fight to retain the constitution, the freedoms for our children and grandchildren, and for genarations after that. This is a fight for freedom.
I forsee a communist victory because todays Americans are weak in mind, body and soul. With a safe full of guns these weak Americans value the Chinese supplied goods and electronics over their freedom to bear arms. They are afraid to fight and likely lose all their assetts. They will snitch on their neighbors if it means keeping their boat. They will do anything to keep their stuff even if they must sell out their family in another city.
There is little time to make up your mind. Will you surrunder your freedom for the false promises of communism, or follow in the footsteps of great Americans and fight the dirty rotten communistss wherever they are found. In my late 60’s I have chosen to fight communist tyranny. Whether its BLM and Antifa or an illegal and stolen communist regime, I will fight them wherever and whenever they are found.
