The situation is clear.  There is a clear sea change in Oregon — increasing numbers of people who are avoiding conflict, and those who are joining battle, are turning away from Back the Blue.

I saw this to a more limited extent in D.C., but now in Oregon the pattern is as clear.  Iraq and Afghanistan veterans will see this and know exactly what is going on.  As will Vietnam vets.  Before my time, but they know this story, too.

Note: the fact that more Proud Boys, Three Percenters, and other Patriot groups are starting to turn on some law enforcement, does NOT make them allies with ANTIFA.  That’s not how this works.

There are so many issues here it’s impossible to fisk in a single post.  Michigan patriots have turned on their government, and the law enforcement officer nearby in this instance was irrelevant to the circumstances, probably just there to protect the state worker (who probably called the Sheriff’s department for assistance because she was scared), and probably just wanted to get away from there as soon as possible.  No LEO wants to be at a gun range with hundreds of shooters where owners are tearing up shutdown orders in front of state officials and LEOs and daring them to do anything about it, while calling them communists.

While allowing Antifa/BLM thugs to do whatever they wanted in various places in the U.S., the most worrisome thing for patriots is what the “justice system” would do to them if they fought back.

Here is the chain of command.  Officers report to their chief, and their chief reports to elected officials.  The elected officials determine policy.

LEOs the world-over will work ensure one, single, solitary thing: the continuance of the status quo and their chain of command.  They will obey orders.  They work to ensure continuity of government, not justice.  I recall a video of the initial fall of Baghdad where the army turned over policing to the local IP literally as soon as they entered the city, and the videographer took footage of the IP beating up local looters in front of American troops.

We’ve discussed how LEOs aren’t required to protect anyone under rulings in Castle Rock versus Gonzales and Warren versus D.C.  There is no need to rehearse that now.

The point is that even patriot groups are turning on LEOs where Michael is right now.  We are entering a very dangerous time in the history of the republic.

Only an idiot wouldn’t see this.

I am truly shocked that no prior .mil figure has pointed out that, through their kompromat on Grandpa Badtouch Biden and others in the succession chain, the CCP will be the de facto CINC of all US forces as of sunset on 21JAN2021.

Okay, first of all, I don’t want cops to have dogs.  I see absolutely no need for it.  I don’t agree with their “war on drugs,” and most cops don’t have the temperament or training to handle dogs, horses, farm animals or any other living creature.

Second, this isn’t the way to train a dog.  I know how to train dogs, whether positive or negative reinforcement.  This isn’t training.  This is just abuse.

Third, I’d say with certainty that the cop isn’t suitable for law enforcement work.  I don’t know about the dog, but the cop must go.  The jury is still out on the dog, but most dogs are a reflection of their handler.  If the cop wants to understand why the dog did what he did, he needs to look in the mirror.

Fourth, the chief is a moron.  Both the cop and the chief need to be fired.

That about covers it.

Clarification.

The Justice Department has asked a federal judge to dismiss a last-gasp lawsuit led by a House Republican that seeks to give Vice President Mike Pence the power to overturn the results of the presidential election won by Joe Biden when Congress formally counts the Electoral College votes next week.

The suit names Pence, who has a largely ceremonial role in next week’s proceedings, as the defendant and asks the court to throw out the 1887 law that spells out how Congress handles the vote counting. It asserts that the vice president “may exercise the exclusive authority and sole discretion in determining which electoral votes to count for a given State.”

The Justice Department is representing Pence in a case that aims to find a way to keep his boss, President Donald Trump, in power. In a court filing in Texas on Wednesday, the department said Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, and a group of Republican electors from Arizona “have sued the wrong defendant” — if, in fact, any of those suing actually have “a judicially cognizable claim.”

The department says, in effect, that the suit objects to long-standing procedures laid out in law, “not any actions that Vice President Pence has taken,” so he should not be the target of the suit.

His role isn’t “largely ceremonial” and they know it.  He could choose to throw away the ballots of any state he chooses.

He won’t.

And I hope this ends the ridiculous talk over 4Chan and other places of Pence being the hero of the day and riding in on his white horse and saving the republic by ignoring the electors from states where there was obvious fraud.

No one is coming to save you.  The deep state will do this until it fears you.

Pence is a deep state actor, and we’ve known that for a very long time.  Here is something for which I will never forgive Pence.  He was the first out of the gate to turn on Gen. Michael Flynn.  He is responsible for Flynn’s torment over almost four years.  And Trump was stupid enough to listen to Pence.  He should have told Pence to go home and work on writing letters to people or something where he couldn’t hurt anything.  But then, Trump should never have chosen him as a running mate to begin with.

Pence knew the danger Flynn posed to the deep state and its intelligence apparatus, and Pence acted in accordance with his master’s wishes.

On the hot-button issues of abortion, guns and race, the court’s conservative majority is most likely to start moving aggressively next term and thereafter.

Will Roe v. Wade, the court’s 47-year-old abortion rights precedent, be overturned? There are two schools of thought on that. One is that the court will systematically hollow out the right to abortion so that it is a right on paper only.

The other school of thought is that leaving Roe a shell is not enough for those opposed to abortion. “There is, I think, a galvanizing view within the pro-life movement that the time has come to call the question,” observes New York University law professor Melissa Murray.

If Roe is to be overturned, however, it likely will take more than a year or two to come to fruition. Former Obama-era Solicitor General Donald Verrilli has said that he thinks it likely will happen within five years or so.

On guns, though, the court looks — for the first time — to have a clear majority that is hostile to gun regulation. Last term, the court once again punted, and punted again on the issue, declining to hear 10 gun-rights cases. Presumably, Chief Justice Roberts’ then-deciding vote was still in doubt.

But now, with Barrett newly on the court and Ginsburg gone, there appear to be five conservative votes ready to march down the path of expansive gun rights, and Second Amendment activists are teeing up new cases.

“I can tell you people are getting more aggressive,” says professor Blackman, a gun-rights advocate. Gun-rights groups “are emboldened to try to push new frontiers” now.

If we’re reminded of nothing else with this sorry lot of people, we’re reminded in 2020 of the traitorous, treacherous nature of the black-robed tyrants.

I’d just as soon they stay out of the second amendment.  Here is a prediction: they’ll do nothing positive for your liberties, and they may make it much worse.  I think people are fabulating support for gun rights that doesn’t exist within the judiciary.

They have a fundamentally different world and life view than you do.
