The New Anti-2A Attorney General
BY Herschel Smith3 years, 10 months ago
“As I’m sure you know, the president is a strong supporter of gun control and has been an advocate all of his life, professional life, on this question. The role of the Justice Department is to advance the policy program of the administration as long as it is consistent with the law,” Garland told the Senate Judiciary Committee.
“And as I said, so far we have a little indication from the Supreme Court as to what this means. But we don’t have a complete indication. And where there is room under the law for the president’s policies to be pursued, then I think the president is entitled to pursue them.”
[ … ]
Garland is expected to be easily confirmed by the Senate with many Republican votes.
And remember that the next time you are tempted to believe that the republicans are your 2A friends.
This is all as expected. He is capitalizing on the facts that (1) he’s a communist, the one who holds the presidency is a communists, most of the congress is communists and none of them speak the truth concerning God-given rights, and (2) the SCOTUS is full of communists too and have vacillated and equivocated until there is nothing left of the covenant under which we all agreed to live (the constitution).
So … here we are. As soon as he is confirmed he will direct the DoJ to direct the ATF to enact new intolerable acts to infringe on God-given rights.

The William F. Buckley crowd sold out to the Democrats and the left a long time ago, probably in the late 1950s or 1960s. In return for backing the muscular stance of the GOP at that time against the USSR and communism, the GOP establishment agreed to back the Democrat’s domestic agenda. So they have done, and have kept on doing, up to today. There are good GOP people here-and-there, albeit not perfect – I am speaking of Ron and Rand Paul, who have been consistent defenders of TRTKBA, if nothing else. But most of the GOP are turncoats and traitors and ought to be regarded as such. As one wag put it, they haven’t “conserved anything,” not even the women’s rest room.

Yes, quite so. Remind your friends and associates who favor “intelligent gun control,” that the only time all-powerful governments attempt to disarm anyone – is when they intend to do them harm, up to and including liquidation, i.e., death. If they are skeptical, remind them of the important work of the late political scientist Dr. R.J. Rummel, whose lifetime of study clearly showed the link between depriving people of the means to defend themselves and mass murder/genocide.

It’ll be funny to see who votes to confirm now but had nothing nice to say about him when he was nominated for the SC. Okay, not so funny. But interesting.

The first half of the statement applies even if the second half does not.

WRSA, today 2-23-21 has a link to 200 corporations & their top executives who are supporting “tougher” gun control laws. Many of these firms I’ve never heard of but some of the old established ones like Bank of America are on the list. Many are also supporters of ANTIFA/BLM. How’s that for hypocrisy?
I still deal with a small independent hardware store that’s been in business since about 1950. When I went in there with my dad back in the late 50’s, they sold guns, too. They have sign bringing that to every customer’s attention. They also have a sign saying we only speak English here. That should give you a good idea of the current owner’s political stance on just about everything.
