One can only hope that, when CZ does anything, it doesn’t do it in Connecticut. I hope they will let their previously demonstrated embracing of liberty guide them rather than solely the numbers from a bean-counter. If they are truly looking at it long-term they could wait and, in the right climate, setup in AR or WY for production of the fine Czech stuff and MOVE Colt OUT and away from the evil state it sits in.
But they are certainly prudent to watch & see how the coming festivities play out and what happens when President* Harris is fully out of the box.

The dems are in complete control. Legislation is pending to basically ban most, if not all, semi-auto firearms. Unless a company thinks it can get by on sales to military/police only then it makes no sense to invest in a large production facility in the U.S. at this time.

@ George:
Unless they want to build in states where Federal gun laws will be lawfully ignored. I predict many more states getting on the nullification bandwagon too.
The FedGov has less power than people think.

George,
From what I have read, Colt revolvers and 1911s should be safe. Really what else will you buy with a Colt Pony on it? An AR is an AR is an AR. But I do admit to being much more of a handgunner than a rifleman. What will be interesting to see is how CZ integrates the Dan Wesson 1911s and the Colts.
