The Worship Of The State Is The Worship Of Force

“The worship of the state is the worship of force. There is no more dangerous menace to civilization than a government of incompetent, corrupt, or vile men. The worst evils which mankind ever had to endure were inflicted by bad governments. The state can be and has often been in the course of history the main source of mischief and disaster.”
HPS remark: When man governs unbiblically, he wishes to supplant the law of God with his own rules, he wishes to supplant the divine decree of God with his own decisions, and he attempts to usurp the role of the sovereign of the universe.

The late Murray Rothbard called the state, not just the US government, a organized criminal gang writ large.
He was right when he said that, all governments are far worse today.

We’ve got incompetent, corrupt, and vile in charge right now so I guess we’re triply screwed. Unbiblical is putting it mildly. Nobody but the Almighty can make America great again.

The fact is that governments are authorized and given authority by the Living God. If those in authority are Godly men who have sought salvation through Jesus, and they follow inspired scriptural principles they will do well. However, usually within a generation, those that follow will have been corrupted by evil and their government will soon fall.
There is not one empire throughout history that has lasted for we are fallen men living in a fallen world.
Why would God save America? A nation that has turned away from Him and embraced evil. Rather than trying to change government we Christians should be focused on speaking the Gospel and truth of salvation through Jesus.
