Does .22 Magnum Rival .380 ACP? Ballistic Test

He seems to think not, but I’m very impressed at the performance of the .22 magnum. I certainly wouldn’t have a problem carrying a .22 magnum revolver as an ankle gun for personal defense.

I’m not sure anyone shoots subcompacts well.

I have an lcr in 22 mag that I carry more often than anything else. Less recoil and easy to stick in the pocket. I have snubbies in 380, 38 special, 357, 9 mm and 45. Since most of what I need to deal with is feral youth i think 22 mag will suffice.

I carry an LCP loaded with alternating flat nosed solids and hollow points. HP does more initial damage and the solids penetrate more.
