Persecution Of Christians In Islamic States

Raymond Ibrahim.

  • “The State Department has blocked us every step of the way. The State Department and the White House have been the biggest problem.  Everyone else, everyone else, has been working together, putting aside differences and trying to get these people to safety. The State Department and the White House have blocked us every single step of the way. In fact, an ambassador was called in Macedonia last night and told not to accept any of these people… We have to send people into even greater danger to try to smuggle these Christians out, who are marked not just for death, but to be set on fire alive because they’re converted Christians.”   — Glenn Beck, Tucker Carlson Tonight, August 26, 2021.
  • Although nearly 80 percent of all persecution Christians experience around the globe is committed in the Islamic world, Afghanistan is actually the worst of all Muslim nations.
  • According to the World Watch List, which ranks the 50 nations in which Christians are most persecuted for their faith, Afghanistan is the second-worst nation in the world, followed on the heels of the worst nation, North Korea…. That report was published nine months ago — when a U.S.-supported government ran Afghanistan. Since then, matters have only significantly worsened for Christians….
  • Even worse, because U.S. and Western leadership are careful not to show any interest in Christian minorities — a sentiment that goes hand in hand with Western acquiescence to “Islamic sensibilities” — they are more prone to turn a blind eye to the persecution of Christians than even some Muslim governments.

There is more from Tony Perkins at FRC.

They take turns staying awake, praying and walking the floor while others sleep — blissfully unaware, at least for a few hours, that they are being hunted. They have no passports, no visas, and very little of what they need most of all: hope. For these Christians, in a safe house deep in Afghanistan, time is running out. Together, they live in fear of a single knock on their hiding place door — from the Taliban.

“It happened so fast,” Sarah said. “We had many plans for preaching the gospel with other brothers and sisters…” Now, their plan is to just survive. Even that, they know, will be difficult. To the despair of rescue groups and humanitarian workers, the small population of Christians in Afghanistan has seemed to vanish — almost overnight. Some have fled to the hills, others have retreated into the shadows — turning off their phones and hunkering down in whatever undisclosed locations they can find. Some have just gone missing completely.

For people like Jean Marie Thrower, those are the ones that haunt her. “People… are going missing and getting killed every day.” On the ground, her Afghan Rescue Crew hears the harrowing stories of desperate parents. “We have had people shot, beheaded. They’re taking the kids. If you’re on the run, and they find your family, they’ll hurt your family and put the word out in the neighborhood that ‘we’ve got your brother or son or daughter.’ They cut off the heads of two boys that were nine and ten.” The Taliban is executing Christians faster than her organization can find them. “We started out with 300 three weeks ago, and we’re down to 55.”

The orphans, if they’re lucky enough to be left behind, are starving. Thrower talks about two little girls who managed to hide after their parents were murdered — but eventually, they got so hungry that they ventured out to the market. “The Taliban found them, raped them, and beat them.” In villages where the families didn’t have time to escape, “The Taliban are going door-to-door taking women and children. The people must mark their house with an ‘X’ if they have a girl over 12 years old, so that the Taliban can take them. If they find a young girl and the house was not marked they will execute the entire family.”

While this White House is busy patting itself on the back for Afghanistan, calling it an “extraordinary success”, 7,000 miles away fathers are handing guns to their wives and daughters so that they can kill themselves if the terrorists come.

Don’t be deceived.  This is the true face is Islam.  Every Muslim imported to the U.S. feels exactly the same way about Christians.

This is coming to the U.S. whether from imported haters of Christ or from communists in the deep state.  American Christians have lived a pampered life.

This will soon be coming to an end.

Prepare now.

Muslims and their leftist apologists here and abroad will try to tell you that the violence, bloodletting and perpetual warfare which have characterized Islamic jihad (holy war) over the last 1,400 years since the life of Mohammed, are now things of the past, and that one needn’t be concerned about the increasing encroachment of Muslims upon the non-Muslim world via mass migration from the Middle East, North Africa, and elsewhere in the Third World.

Don’t believe it: Such statements are, at best, dangerously naive, and at worst, blatant and intentional lies designed to hide the wolf from those upon whom it intends to prey.

Only a few short years ago, in 2015, ISIS jihadists beheaded 21 Egyptian Coptic Christian hostages on camera, the video record of which was posted to the internet. Elsewhere during that time, ISIS members had conducted similar mass executions of Christians in Syria, murdering priests and raping nuns.

In April, 2021, an Egyptian jihad/terror group linked to ISIS executed three hostages, one of whom was confirmed to be a Coptic Christian.

Omar al-Bashir, the brutal Islamic dictator and former President of the Sudan (1989-2019), has been implicated in numerous war crimes, atrocities, and crimes against humanity for his decades-long ethnic cleansing of Christians and other non-Muslims in that nation, most notably in the Darfur region of the western Sudan. Originally an officer in the Sudanese Army before taking power in a coup d’état, Bashir used Sudanese Army helicopter gunships to strafe and burn Christian villages and churches to the ground, before sending in ground forces to slaughter any survivors.

It is an open secret that Bashir’s regime allowed jihadist groups to operate with impunity within the Sudan, such as the Janjaweed tribesmen infamous for their slave-taking raids upon non-Muslim settlements.

The blood-letting got so bad that the oppressed non-Muslim minorities of the Sudan finally had to found a nation of their own, named the South Sudan, in which they could attain some degree of security and safety. Even so, the ink on the negotiated agreement (brokered by third-party negotiators) had not yet even dried before the Janjaweed began raiding into that brand-new nation.

The Islamic Republic of the Sudan is governed under Islamic religious law, and slavery is widely practiced, as it is condoned by sharia and by the example of Mohammed himself.

Across Africa from the Sudan, Nigeria struggles with Islamic separatists and jihadists whose acts and motives are little different from those of the Sudanese Muslims. Boko Haram raids non-Muslim towns and cities in search of loot to steal and young women to take as slaves.

Many of the terrorists and jihadists sought by the U.S.-NATO alliance (ISAF) in the early days of the Afghan intervention sought refuge in the Sudan, as a means of escaping apprehension and to wait for things to cool off enough to return home. Others did the same thing in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, a nation westerners were told was an ally and a friend but one whose actions were those of an enemy.

There is more, much more, which can be told – but that ought to suffice for now.

Respected military affairs analyst William Lind has observed that importing Muslims such as these into the West amounts to the importation of fourth-generation warfare – or worse – right into the heart of our civilization.

Our ruling elites are Christ haters. The Muslims are Christ haters. Importing Muslims into the US is not about humanitarianism; it is about our ruling class importing allies in the out-and-out war against God to come.

And if there is one thing these wretches hate more than Christians, it is Christians with guns.

All Islamic societies are — architecturally — anti-technological, and the more fundamentalist they are, the more this becomes literally true. The paradigmatic fundamentalist Muslim society exists only within the matrix of a pre-industrial dark-age technology where education and wealth are starkly rationed to those at the top of the pyramid, and the bulk of society simply does what it’s told.

Left to their own devices, all of Islam would revert to this in 20 or 30 years. We should let them.

There are drawbacks to that plan, certainly. The principal drawback is that it promotes slavery, and slavery is both a moral and an economic abomination. It is a moral abomination because it supports and reinforces the idea that one person can own another. It is an economic abomination because it acts as “an anchor to windward”; it makes stagnation more economically attractive and thus impedes progress. This is why whenever in the modern world one finds slavery being practiced, it is a virtual certainty that it is happening in a Muslim nation. The Muslim mind-set does not see this stagnation as a problem to be solved. It is not ‘a bug’; it is a feature. The availability of labor at below-market rates artificially alters the cost of capital to make investing in alternatives less profitable and thus less attractive. In such a situation, technological progress happens almost exclusively among those who do not own slaves.

In an earlier time, the 14th century, The Black Death swept through Europe wiping out an estimated 1/3rd of the population. Human labor then became — because of its shortage — more valuable, and this was followed by an easily-predicted exodus of serfs (servants/slaves) from the farm to the city where they were paid wages for their labor and entered, thereby, an emerging middle-class. The sudden decline in the availability of farm labor seeded a need for mechanical substitutes, and this may have been the embryonic stage of the later industrial revolution. It certainly started the Renaissance.

“Left to their own devices, all of Islam would revert to this in 20 or 30 years. We should let them.”

The politically-correct lie is that during Islam’s much-ballyhooed “golden age,” the Muslim world was a hotbed of scientific and technical advancement. Like so many other claims by the communists/left, it doesn’t hold up to any sort of scrutiny. There were a few advancements, mostly coat-tailed upon discoveries and prior work of non-Muslims, but in the main, Islam discourages innovation and intellectual inquiry, which in turn condemns its followers to an existence in the technological backwaters of more-advanced civilization.

The skeptic might retort “But the highest building in the world is in the Islamic world!”… meaning the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, UAE… like everything else modern and new, it was designed and built by westerners, and built largely using imported labor.

The same holds true of the petroleum products which are pumped and refined in the Islamic world: The advanced technology required to run a state-of-the-art petroleum development business came from the West, and all of the employees and technicians in the Arab world who have mastered it, did so because they were taught by westerners, using western technology and know-how.

The single reason the Arab oil monarchies surrounding the Gulf are so wealthy, is that they were fortunate-enough to located standing atop billions in oil and natural gas deposits. If not for the knowledge provided by the infidels, the Arabs would still be nomadic goatherds, just as they were prior to the discovery of oil in Arabia back in the 1930s.

One reason the Islamic world is so aggressive outwardly, is that it depends upon conquest as a means of “creating” (confiscating) wealth. The Islamic prohibition against innovation and the scientific method prevents the believers from developing their own sources of wealth based upon something besides oil.

The Arabs aren’t stupid, and they know that the oil will sooner or later cease flowing from their most-profitable oil fields and finds. If, upon that day, they do not have a back-up plan in place, the civilized world will again turn its back upon them. This is why the United Arab Emirates, for example, has tried so hard to brand itself as the “Las Vegas of Europe,” a jet-setting destination for wealthy Europeans on holiday.

These facts suggest a strategy by which the non-Muslim world may again gain the upper hand, i.e., by exploiting these weaknesses within Islam. Or, as Bill Lind suggests, seal it off and turn the Islamic world in upon itself. Without access to the wealth and innovation of the kafir, it will soon wither and die, or at least be significantly weakened. The bad news is that the Arabs in particular, have so thoroughly woven themselves into the non-Muslim world, particularly economically, that this feat is easier said than done.
