Ammoland covers the following.
- Midwest Industries AR-15 Sling Mounts
- Bravo Company Keymod Quick Detachable AR15 Sling Mount
- Magpul RSA Quick Detach Sling Mount Attachment
- Daniel Defense EZ Carbine QD Sling Mount
- Viking Tactics VTAC – LAMB Front Sling Adapter
I had never seen the Viking Tactics LUSA front Sling Adapter.
Which one do readers like the best, and what are you running?

Some hand guards like Midwest Industries and Odin machined in a QD “hole” in the 90deg and 270deg position so the problem is solved already.

There’s nothing wrong with the Magpul. I’ve gone to single point for reasons that will not be discussed on the webz.

Magpul QD mount. I like devices designed for specific applications. Not a fan of ” one size fits all”, I find it amounts to one size fits none just as in socks.

Either side of the handguard, behind the grip and on the buttstock are QD holes on all of my PSA “junk”. I use heavy nylon straps from sportsbags/carry bags to mitigate the high cost of Magpul slings. Sometimes using heavy plastic wireties to secure the male QD part, or not. Again, a tiny bit of ingenuity can mitigate large costs. You don’t need all that ready made Gucci shit. Just a good, sturdy sling with solid attachment points ffs.

Don’t get me started on how phenomenal Mid West sights are.
