Any video with Ryan Muckenhirn is worth watching. I love his podcast videos.

Use Blackhorn 209 and patch it out with Hoppe’s just like a centerfire rifle.
Done.

On the breach plugs of big bore sticks, like BP CVAs, that use 209s… get some of the long pipe cleaners in the craft area of Dollar General or elsewhere. You can do this…burn the fuzz off with a flame and then clean the spiral wire pretty good and loop the long end in a circle so you can handle it. Then gradually work this into the primer flash hole. Once you’ve got that sized in the flash hole it will be your forever tool to clean the plugs. Triple 7 and Pyrodex are going to get more crusty stuff in there than the Black Holy, but still those flash holes will affect your ignition and accuracy big time. You’ll need to do this for sure after about third shot. Or, better yet get about 3-4 breach plugs, carry them with you, and rotate. When you get home ultrasound them with one of those 15 dollar ultrasound jobs you can get on ebay.
And, use Hoppes Elite. I will eventually convince everyone to use it on the bores.

I have a lot of it and have used it for some time to good effect.
Easy clean up with good accuracy.
