Unless Force Is Used Against A Law Enforcement Officer In The Line Of Duty
BY Herschel Smith3 years ago
Seen at WoG, this report from Missouri.
A Missouri lawmaker is planning to introduce a new bill that he claims will strengthen the state’s “stand your ground” law.
Sen. Eric Burlison (R-Battlefied) pre-filed the legislation Wednesday. It would grant a person criminal immunity for using deadly force in self-defense unless the force is used against a law enforcement officer in the line of duty.
Now why would it be necessary to add the part I’ve bolded?
Because they can’t allow anything to escape the blanket indemnification they grant to all LEOs in every circumstance.
And what about a home invasion by SWAT in the wrong home where they bust in and point guns at your children, with you not knowing anything about who they are?
How about that one, Burlison?

According to the scholarship of Roger Roots, we only lost the legal recognition of our right to self defense against rogue cops in living memory. See the section on resisting arrest in “Are Cops Constitutional?” (http://www.outpost-of-freedom.com/library/AreCopsConstitutional.pdf).

For years I’ve been trying to discourage people from using the term “LEO” to describe enforcers.
I much prefer “CLEO” for Civilian Law Enforcement Officer. That’s the term we used when I was in the Army and since those enforcers aren’t military, they are (by the original definition) civilians.
Also, Leo is a lion and lions are brave. Enforcers in the US today are nothing but cowards.

Allways throwin the scraps to the “Civilians.”
Newsflash-cops ARE Civilians.
Even the bearded SOF wannabe’s or the Re-tIrED real kind.

There was a recent case where the court actually ruled in favor of the citizen who defended himself when the cops did a no knock attack on the wrong house. The establishment is trying to insure that the citizens are again “legally” defenseless against incompetent or crooked officers.

That’s happened many times. As a matter of fact you are hard pressed to find where a No Knock went south and the home owner or occupants were no found innocent. About 4 years ago a Cop got killed busting into the wrong house and the home owner got off. That happened in Texas, it’s not hard to find on the web.
We have as much right to be armed as Law Enforcement.
