New CZ 600 Bolt Action Rifle

This is a far more informative video than when I first linked just a bit of information on the new CZ line of rifles. He does a good job even if it’s a little bit “salesmanship.”
I do wish they would have released their walnut stock rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. With release to the American market, this is a massive oversight in my opinion.

Agreed. However, there is an alternative, if you are willing to consider it. CZ is a great company, but if they won’t release what you are looking for, then why not consider an alternative?
Bergara is the company to which I am referring. I have somewhat limited experience with their products, but enough to be very impressed by what I have seen. They offer the B-14 line of traditional hunting rifles in either walnut or composite stocks, with a choice of traditional dropped-comb (“American”) style stock or a Monte Carlo design. They’re competitively priced, too. Bergara is known mostly for high-end competition/tactical rifles, but broadened their product line to appeal to hunters in the mid-price market segment.
Bergara, a Spanish company whose U.S. operations are in the state of Georgia, hired Mark Krieger of the renowned Krieger barrel-making firm that bears his name, to set up and consult with them on their barrel-making processes and manufacturing, and if the results I’ve seen and heard about are typical, Bergara hit a home run. These rifles apparently shoot the heck out of anything with which they are loaded, including commercial hunting ammo.
Anyway, long story short, Bergara makes a nice walnut stocked model called the B-14 Timber and it is available in 6.5 Creedmoor. Sportsman’s Warehouse, Bud’s Gun Shop, and Classic Firearms are some of the dealers who carry them. Stock is slim yet, but starting to come back – and Sportsman’s had a 6.5 CM in stock as recently as a week ago, if memory serves – for maybe in the upper eight-hundred dollar range MSRP. You can get a composite-stock, too, and there are also fancier models for somewhat more money.
Just thought you’d want to know….

@Georgiaboy61,
I’m familiar with the Bergara line of rifles. Nice guns.
More oriented towards precision shooting, nice, a little heavy, most of them, and a little pricey.
But Bergara hasn’t sent me one to review and buy later as a used gun.
