Well, it’s Ruger, so at least they know how to do stainless steel, and they’e doing it on machinery that isn’t left over from the Great Depression.
Unlike Marlin, before they folded.

I’d like to see the Ruger version compared/contrasted with that from Henry, in addition to the Remlin model.

This video is a great example of why I prefer writeups. 99% of video reviewers do a lousy job, and simply waste a lot of time talking about nothing. This guy included.
Yes, take it shooting. Give me Paul Harrell or Hitchcock45 any day of the week.

The world-record 2.2 mile shot made by a Canadian sniper in 2017 was fired from a McMillan Bros Tac-50, which uses a Lilja barrel.
Lilja, in turn, cuts rifling in it’s .50 BMG barrels with a WWII-made Pratt & Whitney sine bar milling machine. In fact the custom barrel industry runs on military surplus P&W sine bar riflers, some dating back to before WWI. More than a century later, they still make barrels that shoot bugholes.

With all due respect @boster de body crsab, I think Aesop’s comment was more associated with the ability of mass production and Ruger’s ability to deliver such. (In stainless anyways)
